This was our second trip here, and we can't say enough great things about this home. The property is comfortable, sprawling and secluded and yet close enough to Great Barrington, Stockbridge, and other nearby towns so you can dip in for dinner and groceries easily. 10/10.

This is a house in a fabulous location! Very quiet – no street noise, only nature surrounds you; very private with beautiful landscaping. Great screened-in porch and sitting area in front. Very close to many great hikes. A convenient location to Stockbridge, Great Barrington, groceries.

Our family of 7 enjoyed a beautiful long snowy weekend in the Berkshires at this lovely property! The house was everything we were looking for! The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and gadget you could want or need. The dining and living spaces were perfect for gathering together. Many games were played together in front of the beautiful roaring fireplace! The bedrooms provided quiet spaces to sneak away for quiet naps. We enjoyed exploring the property on several snow walks, along with a quick trip to Ski Butternut for tubing. So much fun!Thank you so much Chris and Jane for sharing your lovely home. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy everything else the Berkshires has to offer!

Chris and Jane went above and beyond to make our stay at their home a stand-out experience. We are foodies and always look for restaurants that surprise us with outstanding dishes. We were having a hard time making reservations at several restaurants . Jane and Chris immediately jumped in helping us out and made reservations at 3 different restaurants for us. They also suggested a hike which we did and loved. They were just so darn helpful with everything.
This home is beautifully designed with soothing colors and textures. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen has high quality everything you would need to cook and the landscape has well thought-out plant material (being a Master Gardener I always notice the plants). The property has a pond with a pond house. My husband did yoga most mornings on the porch of this charming little house.
The only slight down side would be the WiFi is kinda slow and the signal for Netflix can drop . But this beautiful retreat of a house in the forest will delight everyone!
