This is a very serene location. It's a cute, kitschy cottage right on the water with a private backyard and area to grill. Only a sweet, short walk to the Canal Island lighthouse and a quiet road to bike on for miles. The only criticism, and definitely not a deal breaker-still 5 stars- the beds. They are all pull-out couch beds and are not super comfortable. Overall a gem of a weekend in a nice-priced stay with a beautiful view.

Clean and cozy home with a million dollar view of gorgeous sunrises and the Cana Island lighthouse. You can fall asleep with the waves coming ashore. This was our seventh stay here. It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind.

We love this quiet no fuss Cottage on the more wild shore of Lake Michigan. If you’re a high maintenance type this place may not be the best for you. A huge storm came in one night while we were there. We sat up on the second floor and watched the lightening light up the wild sea scape before us. The other nights we watched the full moon rise. Hope that this cottage never gets updated . It’s a perfect little humble Daisy of a cottage❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
