We had a great visit to South Haven, and Phoenix Nest was a charming condo for our long weekend. The location is awesome, just steps away from shops and restaurants. We enjoyed looking out onto the main street from the comfort of the living room. The balcony was perfect for a relaxing card game while enjoying a bottle of wine. The owner was accommodating, responsive, and easy to work with. We would recommend!

I have always loved South Haven as a vacation spot (I live in Chicago). The place we stayed was well located, well equipped, comfortable, and quiet. It will certainly be under serious consideration for future South Haven trips.

My family and I stayed at the condo for a few days during the week for a quick getaway from Chicago. We have been to South Haven many times but have always stayed farther from the downtown area. Being in the mix was a game changer. It was so easy to walk down the stairs to access the restaurants, shops and even walk to the pier or South Beach.
The inside of the condo was clean and homey. It has everything you need. The living space was so cozy and we loved sitting in the swivel chairs and looking out on the street activity and the water. I really appreciated that they provided a few trash bags, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and some other essentials that saved me a trip to the store. The welcome binder was helpful and we had no problems finding the trash room or accessing the internet. Beds were comfy, there were extra towels, pillows, and blankets. You can tell a lot of thought went into this place.
One thing I will mention is that there are a few windows near the stairs that bring in a lot of light and don't have shades, so bring your eye masks for sleeping in the loft. Also, sound carries throughout so if you have people sleeping in the loft, bring a fan or little sound machine to drown out some noise.
We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

The location could not be better in the middle of town and short walk to the beach. House in spotless with everything thing you need for your stay.
