We were attending a gymnastics meet in Daytona Beach and decided to make a long weekend of it to enjoy the beach. The unit was clean, although the building itself was dated. My one minor issue was the beach chairs provided were rusted and broken.
Just prior to our trip, we found out we had to be back home a day earlier than planned. I sent a message through VRBO to the owner on Wednesday before our trip but never received a response. Once there, I contacted the owner directly and he was so gracious and understanding refunding us the one day . Thank you so much for being so helpful. We would definitely come back .

This unit is VERY nice. The rooms are very large (except the kitchen), the beds are very comfortable, and the decor is very tasteful. It was also very clean. We vacationed in mid October 2023. The building is quiet and clean. There is an elevator and shopping carts are in the garage to help haul all your stuff up to your unit. This unit was SO WELL stocked! The kitchen lacked for nothing. There was even seasonings, coffee, etc provided. No need to bring your own trash bags and paper products - they are provided. There is a closet (in the extra bedroom) full of beach toys and pool stuff. There is a full size washer & dryer as well. Unfortunately, there is no access to the master closet, as it is used as storage for housekeeping. The kitchen needs an update, and is small, but the rest of the unit makes up for this shortcoming. The unit owner was EXCEPTIONAL in responding to a couple of small issues we had. I left a small bag with all my jewelry in it when we checked out, and he made the drive from Jacksonville to Ormond to get it before the next guests checked in and send it to me. That's what I call service!!
The beach is gorgeous here - with no cars allowed. The pool is on the small side. Publix, Dunkin Donuts and other shops are right across the street.
We will absolutely stay here again if we are back in the Ormond area.

Great accommodations and amenities. Nice ocean view from balcony and pretty much everywhere in the unit.
