We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. When we arrived, we found a bottle of champaign and a greeting card from Melanie! She was very helpful. The cottage was comfortable. It had everything we needed. Hurrican Lee decided to make an appearance. Melanie offered to let us stay an extra night at no charge so we didn't leave when Lee was scheduled to hit the area. However, we decided to leave a day early.

We stayed here between 17/8/23 to 22/08/23 Cottage was beautiful, clean and cozy to accommodate our family of 4, with two little children aged 5 and under. The free outfield with roaming horses and geese were very exciting and inviting, especially for the kids. The property manager, Melanie, was very receptive & quick on the responses. Though we did not take any riding lessons, we did visit the horse barn and kids had a fun time learning about the horses from the handlers. Location of the cottage was convenient with the grocery store close by for emergencies & a manageable one hour-ish drive to lot of attractions. Overall, we had an enjoyable & peaceful vacation. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great location to take side trips. Host had ideas of what to see in a book which we did a lot of her recommendations and am so happy we did. House is cute, clean, comfortable and has beautiful scenery. She had firewood ready for us to sit by the fire pit. Enjoyed seeing the horses in the mornings and the geese were fun to watch. Host communicated well and made sure we felt welcomed.

We had a lovely time. The host was very accommodating, we basically had the run of the place - plenty of stalls and available in-door if it was raining. Our horses were very happy to be out on grass. The cottage was very comfortable and nicely decorated to make you feel at home. Watch the deer from the front porch. Plenty of places to ride - especially on the blueberry barrens. I would highly recommend any one that is looking for a place to bring your horses on overnights - this is the perfect place. We do not have many places that accept horses.
