Nice place close to the Elk River. Comfortable beds, lots of room, and fully stocked kitchen. Everything we needed! Donna is very responsive and kind.

We really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and peaceful setting. Easy to get around to major highways and lots of things to do. Everything you can possibly need in this home is there. Donna, the host came and said Hi and if we needed anything. We would recommend a good stay here if your wanting comfortable and peaceful surroundings.

This has been our favorite vacation rental so far. The house is VERY reasonably priced for the size and amenities offered. The hostess was very attentive and engaged without being obtrusive. She showed us the facilities and ensured we had everything we needed. The cabin is conveniently located halfway between Joplin, MO and Bentonville, AR so it's only a half hour drive either direction to entertainment without all the hassle and noise of staying in the city.
Our favorite amenity by far, was the back deck and yard. We loved sitting quietly together on the back deck listening to the babble of the branch, listening to the wind sigh through the trees, and watching for deer while we drank our coffee. At night, there is even a string of LED lights and a fire pit to create that perfect ambience. It was so quiet and peaceful - the perfect setting for my wife and I to unwind and reconnect for a few days.
I could go on and on, but words do not adequately describe the value for your money, and the level of service. So do yourself a favor: Book your next vacation here and check it out for yourself. I believe you will be glad you did!

Our group of 5 adults stayed 3 nights while in town to float the Elk River. This property is super easy to get to and is extremely convenient to local grocery and entertainment options, despite feeling completely secluded.
The layout of the cabin felt spacious and allowed plenty of shared space for gathering, while the sleeping quarters were separated enough to allow for sufficient privacy.
By far the best part of this property is the back porch/yard area. There's an amazing porch overlooking an expansive backyard that includes a bench swing, hammock, fire pit area, and a near little creek to explore! The back yard area feels like it's miles away from any other property, while still being near to all desired conveniences. Overall, my group unanimously agreed that this property far exceeded our expectations and we will be back!
