We had a great stay at Tamarron for our Durango vacation! The location was perfect—super close to both Purgatory Resort and downtown Durango. The condo was very clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also really enjoyed the on-site restaurants and resort facilities.
A few very minor drawbacks to note: we couldn’t find any sheets for the pullout bed—just blankets and a mattress pad. The downstairs tub didn’t have a stopper, which made it tough to use for little kids. The staff at the fitness center and pool were not very welcoming; it was clear they weren’t thrilled about vacation renters using the amenities. The condo was also quite warm when we arrived and took a while to cool down. Lastly, while there was a sign asking guests to remove shoes at the door, but the entryway is so small that it became a tripping hazard with nowhere to store them out of the way.
Overall, though, we had a great experience and would definitely stay at Tamarron again!

Nice gym and pool areas. The valley & golf club are beautiful. It is way out of the crowded town at a reasonable altitude but close to the best scenery in Colorado. The unit had good space for the price.
