Pros:
Family meeting from two different states in the Black Hills - 10 people together staying in this home. Four separate bedrooms, three bathrooms and additional sleeping spaces for the children was ideal for our group. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms, towels, sheets, pillows - all stocked well and clean. Beds were very comfy. Large deck with nice views and outdoor seating spaces. Pool table, dartboard and hot tub are a bonus. Couches in the upstairs living area are comfortable. Dish TV available in multiple rooms. We contacted the owner, and he was very responsive and helpful.
Cons:
Home is a bit worn. Some small repairs would make a big difference. Closet doors off the tracks, screen doors difficult to open and close. Dartboard and darts in poor condition making it difficult to play. Batteries dead in multiple remotes (no batteries to replace them available). Most disappointing was the lower level pull-out couch being broken and not able to be used to sleep on. Internet seems to go out often. Poor lighting on the main level made it difficult to play games in the evening - we ended up bringing lamps from the bedrooms for additional light.
We truly enjoyed our stay in the Black Hills. This house has so much potential! The area is beautiful and so convenient to Deadwood and Spearfish. Hopefully we will all be back.

We had an excellent time. The cabin is pretty much central to everything we wanted to see.

We were in the area for a week of UTV Trail riding - location was centrally located. Deck was amazing for morning coffee and evening laughter- we had 8 people so each couple had a private room. Kitchen was well stocked. Location is not the greatest if you are pulling trailers ( we had 3 pickups and trailers). We were able to park them in the driveway, there is an area nearby that we used to load the UTVs which made it much easier.

Very happy with our choice on staying at this house. Was perfect for us all and had everything that we needed. Owners were nice to communicate with.
