We have stayed in this house several times with our large family. The space works very well for us. In fact one of our grandchildren asked if we will always stay there when we go out to "the Hills," which of course we will. The only problem this time is that the Wifi was extremely weak which affected computer use but also TV streaming. Our Netflix app told us that no Wifi signal was nearby when we tried to install it. Other than that the stay was as wonderful as it always is! We will definitely be back.

We have stayed at this house multiple times. We enjoy the layout of the house as there is plenty of room for people to gather to visit or do activities. We give our son and his young family the main floor bedroom as there is room for all of their young children. They can get up to use the bathroom or kitchen any time of the night without disturbing the rest of us. The proximity to the Mickelson Trail is great as we love to go walking when we are not touring. The location in Hill City is a nice central location in the Hills, with easy access to both Custer and Rapid City. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Easy to find this home. Comfortable beds, very spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Bonus having the gorgeous Mickelson Trail at the end of our driveway! Owners were a phone call away. Oven wasn't heating correctly and they worked on getting it fixed asap. Nice sitting areas on each floor. Washer and dryer were very handy for washing clothes after hiking. I would only recommend more blankets, kitchen washclothes and towels. While you are here, you must check out Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Springs/Spa. And making a reservation at the Bearded Buffalo.

We rented this home for our extended family’s trip to South Dakota. The home was very large & spacious with plenty of beds and room for everyone! It was clean and in good condition with everything we needed.
The only real downfalls were all the queen beds had very firm mattresses making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We were also very disappointed in all the weeds that are overgrown in front of the house. These weeds block any view from the lower level. There is a small stream that runs in front of the property, however, it is very weeded over & would be nice if someone would weed eat near the bank so you could actually see the stream & enjoy looking at the water.
