One of the best rentals I’ve stayed in. Kitchen was well stocked, view was amazing and private lot was just what we were looking for. Zero complaints or even suggestions for improvement, would definitely rent again.

I consider myself a bit of a location connoisseur - I love finding unique places with amazing amenities and this one checked all the boxes. The pictures, while 100% accurate, did not fully encompass all the wonders of this home. I booked this spot to celebrate my partner's 28th birthday, and our group fell in love with this spot. The beds were unbelievably comfy, the house had so many wonderful perks (house speakers, a full pantry, lots of kitchen items, a fun bar area, and so much space), and it was great to disconnect for a couple days. We knew ahead of this stay that cell service would be limited, but we didn't expect that to become such an unexpected perk as we were all able to be present and stay in the moment. We stayed up at night and sat outside watching the meteors and shooting stars as the night sky loomed above us. We truly had the best time staying here, and we're already itching to return!

We had booked this home to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday and were hoping for a special setting overlooking the lake, so it was a major disappointment to learn that Cle Elum Lake is actually a reservoir that supports nearby agriculture, so its water level fluctuates throughout the year. During our October stay, there was no lake visible from the house—only a wide stretch of dirt. The listing did not mention that lake views may diminish or disappear depending on the season with variable water levels.
It’s also worth noting that both full bathrooms are en-suite, which made it a bit awkward for our family, since people have to enter someone’s bedroom to use the shower.
Additionally, there is no cellular service in the area. While the home’s Wi-Fi was reliable during our stay, bandwidth occasionally struggled to support multiple users during video calls or streaming.
We also experienced a few maintenance issues that were promptly addressed but could not be resolved during our stay. The cleaning could have been more thorough, as there were cobwebs on some light fixtures and other small details that were overlooked.
Bring your Northwest Forest Parking Pass if you plan to hike in the area.
While we were very disappointed with the non-lake views, the house was comfortable for our family, the game room was fun, and the lot is private (the separate-but-attached rental unit onsite was not rented during our stay.) The property manager is very responsive.
