The host, Robert, is very responsive and helpful. The house and furnishings are dated and showing signs of vacation home wear-n-tear, but it's comfortable and clean enough. The view from the home is lovely and the location feels very safe. We appreciated that paper products and all linens, laundry detergent and coffee (regular, no decaf) were provided. (No bar soap, fyi, and there are only approx 10 clothes hangers in the house).
We did encounter a few issues but nothing that would ruin a vacation. Our only real complaint is that the A/C thermostat is programmed NOT to go below 72 degrees, which I don't recall seeing in the listing. That's a challenge for those who like to sleep with it slightly cooler. We've let the owner know about some repairs that need attention. I think for the price it's a lot of space if you need 3 bedrooms. And it's well located for exploring Sedona.

We had a friend visiting from SC who always dreamed of seeing the southwest. With this in mind, I was looking for a location that would offer view and location. This home did not disappoint. We had arrived at night so she couldn't see anything until morning. She's was stunned by the beautiful view we had. The accommodations were perfect! And the host was great! He made sure our stay was everything we wanted and responded immediately if we had questions. Thank you Robert! Yes, I would recommend this home.

The home was very comfortable with excellent views of the Red Rocks. Conveniently located to trails and restaurants. It was a perfect location! Neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing to sit on the deck for an afternoon.

We had a great experience.
Loved the outdoor gas fireplace in the evenings.
All the comforts of home and 2 California King beds with their attached baths baths.
Robert was attentive and advised us on restaurants and activities
We will definitely return to this home on our next visit to Sedona

This house was the perfect house for my first Sedona experience! Very clean, spectacular views and generously appointed with everything we could have needed. It is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood, but very accessible to all things: trails, and incredible vistas, shopping and restaurants!
I would absolutely not only recommend this house to others but would book again!
Thank you for sharing your sweet house.

This house is located in west Sedona, far enough from the main hustle and bustle of the busy uptown, but close enough to everything you need. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac that faces the red rock mountains. The views are incredible. We could see the mountain light up at sunrise and sunset. Just gorgeous!! The house itself is beautifully decorated. I loved the artwork, the colorful furniture and the decor. Beds were very comfortable. Robert provided Red Rock passes to park in the trailheads, saving us money and time. That is a nice touch. The house was fully stocked with everything you need. We did not really use the kitchen, preferring to eat out, but if we had, it apearen to have everything. Robert also recommended places to eat and hike. We especially loved to learn about the Javelina and we were lucky enough to see a family of Javelina on our way to see the sunset at Slick Rock Trail (another recommendation). I can’t say enough about our stay in Sedona. It is a beautiful and magical place that will always have a place in my heart.

Robert’s place was wonderful for our party of 2 couples. Clean, attractive, and functional. Beds extremely comfy; other furniture not so much, but satisfactory for a 3 night stay. Garage was a big plus, as was the very quiet location. Robert himself was most friendly and helpful in various ways including advising on a very nice hike to take. We would love to stay here again!

Very good location. Quiet neighborhood. great views. House clean and roomy. It's 2 story so there are a number of steps to navigate frequently.

The Javalina House was a very nice place to stay. The views were outstanding, the fireplace(s) warm and inviting. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped for the breakfasts we cooked there.
For such a nice home and in this price range, the furniture in the common areas could use a significant upgrade; for example, seating was not particularly comfortable, and the arrangement of furniture was odd, at best, and somewhat inconvenient.

This home was perfect for 2 (older 😜) couples. We really enjoyed the location, (so quiet!) and the absolutely stunning views. It was easy to get to any of the restaurants, shopping or hikes we were doing, and then to come back and relax either on the deck or sitting at the dining room table, each offering the same great view, with cocktails was divine. The property was immaculate, the host very attentive and the beds-SO comfortable! We’d absolutely stay here again! PS The artwork/theme of javalinas brought up much discussion, are they cute or scary? We decided they can be both!

This home is fantastic and has an incredible view. Robert was super helpful with telling us the best places to go, and he was available when we had questions. I would highly recommend staying here.

We come to Sedona every couple of years & this was our first time staying here. We enjoyed our stay in the house immensely. Everything was working and clean. Robert the host was very responsive with any questions. Great location. Neighborhood was quiet. We used the outdoor living spaces several times daily. Saw a couple of shy coyotes in the lot across the way. The view from the windows & outdoor patios was fantastic. We appreciated the snacks. And the brand name soaps & detergents (Thank you!). It was truly first rate. Beds were comfortable. I could go on & on. Hopefully we can stay here again on our next trip.

The event we attended consisted of long days and it was so wonderful to go home to a house and chat as we put together our dinner and breakfast each day, also being able to do laundry was awesome.
The art work and furnishings were amazing and everyone said their bed was so comfortable.
I highly recommend this house and Evolve, who made the whole process super easy!!

Great home. Owner was an excellent communicator. Had lots of nice touches for convenience in the house. We actually saw a Javelina wonder by which is the name of the property. Beautiful mountain views. Lots of outdoor seating areas (as pictured). Convenient location to downtown Sedona.

Three friends had a great week with Javelina House as our base. We even spotted a javelina one evening. The outdoor and interior fireplaces are delightful and were quite welcome in early February. As you may know or expect, Sedona is a fantastic getaway destination and the Javellina House is perfectly located. It's out of the way in a quiet neighborhood, but just minutes away from great food, great trails, the wonderful Sedona New Day Spa (tell them the writer sent you), and beautiful views. Enjoy.

This was a great central location in a quiet neighborhood for our vacation. The view is beautiful. The house is very well stocked with basic necessities and thoughtful welcome touches (snacks) that reduced what we had to buy at the store - this was much appreciated! Unfortunately we could not enjoy the porch as much as we hoped due to mosquitoes and all the stores in Sedona we checked were sold out of bug spray so be sure to bring some with you. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend!

I expected to enjoy myself but this trip far exceeded my expectations. I left Sedona convinced that someday I’m going to find a way to live there (I was that moved by the experience). The “Javelina House” was perfect. First of all, it’s extremely well located in a nice quite neighborhood (with incredible views) close to just about everything you’ll want to do. It’s a pretty quick drive from most of the hiking trails, restaurants, or shopping centers you’ll most likely visit.
The house itself was nice and clean. There was nothing worn down about it (an issue I’ve had with other rentals). The beds were all very comfortable (another rarity for vacation rentals) and the Red Rock parking passes are an excellent touch.

My wife and I booked our stay at the Javelina House to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We had a FANTASTIC time!
Check in was easy, although it did take me a minute to find the lock box.
Home is in a quiet neighborhood. It was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances/utensils.
There were day packs available for hiking which was a nice touch.
Coffee on the patios was my favorite part. Amazing view! One day a squadron of javelinas came and visited us, so the house lives up to it's name.
Seating arrangements in the den were a little awkward, but not a big deal. Furniture was comfortable and TV worked just fine.
Also, and just a personal preference, we would have liked to have been able to adjust the thermostat temperature a little lower, but we like it colder than most.
Robert checked in on us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
Overall this was a great experience. 5 stars. Would recommend to others and would book again!

The house was easy to find and you are greeted with beautiful views. The house had everything you need for a quick or extended stay. The location was great, near stores and restaurants. Robert, the host was super responsive. We would stay here again!

Our stay was great. The home was clean and smelled really good when we walked in. Had everything we needed. It is also located just minutes from everything in Sedona. The location couldn’t have been better. The neighborhood is really nice and safe, as we walked around the area with the kids and got to see the cool home nearby. Robert, the host, answered our questions promptly when texted. Highly recommend.

The house was beautiful and is located centrally near plenty of trailheads and essential shops. Great neighborhood too. We saw deer and javalinas every night of our stay.
