Exceeded our expectations for a weekend getaway! The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was beautiful and well-maintained, and the short walk to the beach made it easy to come and go throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or a more relaxing stay. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

The Vandalia home is clean, spacious and very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and appliances. The rooms were very nice and the loft bedroom is huge! If not for the boat dock in need for repairs I would have given 5 stars. The location, although far from any decent grocery shopping is very nice. The lake is very clean but be careful with your boat as there are some shallow areas (I actually bent my prop by the boat ramp). Overall it was a fantastic week in Vandalia!

I complained about the dock last year and once again the dock needs to be repaired! It would only take a few new bolts and level it off to make it much safer to use. The rest of our stay was excellent! Looking forward to going back next year!

We enjoyed our stay on Donnell Lake! The lake front was beautiful with solid ground and a lot of shallow swimming areas if you have little kids.
The home was large with 3 bedrooms and a lot of extra living space. You could easily sleep up to 14 people on beds/futons.
The owners were very responsive to inquiries and requests. And the check in/out process was super easy.
