My two sons, my husband and I absolutely enjoyed this stay. We wished we stayed longer.
We caught so many fish from the pier, and also caught some crabs. (I managed to semi-fix the broken crab trap with some rope and still caught crabs with it.)
We all enjoyed the kayaks - my husband saw a dolphin during his early morning kayak ride. So I encourage kayaking close to sunrise near the channel where the bay is - any later is too late.
Very clean home. Comfy/cozy couch and beds.
There's enough room if you decide to bring grandparents along but our teenager enjoyed the downstairs.
We should've brought our two dogs as the entire property is secure, so don't fret with your pups.
The kitchen essentials and toiletries were an added bonus.
Short drive to Rockport Beach and also to the ferry to Port A.
We are considering returning next summer for a week long stay if there's availability - so please don't hesitate booking here.

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving at this perfect home on the canal. The location was perfect with views of water in all directions. Our teenage son enjoyed the downstairs room that felt like his own little apartment. We caught reds, blacks, and trout off of the dock as well as out in the bay. My husband loved being able to launch his boat right at the house. All the indoor and outdoor furniture was comfy and we felt right at home. Laura was such a gracious host and a great communicator. We would 100% choose to stay here again!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we loved it. There were minor things that were not working like the green underwater fish light. The first time we stayed we enjoyed watching the big fish swim thew the light. The were some issues with the downstairs ac but we got a quick response about getting it fixed and luckily we were checking the next day. The hosts are very quick to respond to messages. The power went out for over and hour on our last night there which caused the bedroom light not to turn back on. No fault to the property owners though. We hope to be able to return again this winter. We love fishing from the private dock & catching crabs. Although I think the crab traps could use some repairs because the crabs we caught kept escaping. The kayaks are a lot of fun and it was a really relaxing trip in a beautiful house.
