We had 7 motorcyclists' spending 4 nights for our annual motorcycle ride. The place was as advertised. Been doing the ride for 24 years and we rarely have any places we would "do over" again but this was one of those rare locations where we all agreed that we would like to come back to.

Had our high school fishing team stay in this home and also rented one a few doors down. This location has plenty of room to spread out and relax. The large kitchen is perfect for a group and makes cooking and cleanup very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the long driveway to be able to park our trailer out of the way. There is a sulfur smell to the well water but we own a well and pump company and that is totally normal and still fine to use (you can't control mother nature) . The home offers above average tea tree shampoo and conditioner so lather up fast and you don't even notice the smell:) We had a great stay and couldn't have asked for more. TY

We absolutely loved staying at this lovely lake house in Cecil, WI!!!! It had all the comforts of home and then some!!! Very spacious and immaculate! Recently remodeled. Owners very nice and checked in on us to see if we needed anything midway through our stay! Neighbors on both sides very friendly and family oriented. Loved the tranquility of that end of Shawano Lake! Fishing was excellent right off the pier! Very shallow and Sandy bottom for young children to swim in. Especially loved the wonderful screened in back porch where we could enjoy the sunsets, starry nights and get protection from the mosquitoes at dusk! If we had a fire going to roast marshmallows, only a couple people stayed out by the fire to roast the marshmallows and the rest of us headed inside the screened in porch to enjoy the sounds and smell of the crackling fire without getting bit up!!!! The towns of Cecil, Bonduel and Shawano had many various shops, casual family style restaurants, and recreational activities! Be sure to get a Shawano County Visitor’s Guide if you decide to rent this highly recommended wonderful family oriented home with a gorgeous view of the lake! So relaxing!!!!

From the moment we booked the house, our hosts were immediately available for any questions or needs we had. They genuinely cared that we had everything we needed. The house was perfect for our two families. It was fully updated, clean, great location, and right on the water. There was a kayak, hammock, trampoline, and endless games for both kids and adults. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or better hosts. We will definitely be returning!
