The property is very accurately described...VERY spacious retro retreat. Absolutely gorgeous view and the home was absolutely perfect for our large group ranging in age from 6 - 68, including teens and 20 somethings as well as a few in their 40's. Main floor was perfect for me (the 68 yr old) as I have some mobility issues so everything I needed was available to me on the main floor. We had one rain day but it didn't spoil our day as both the upper and lower levels have covered patio and balcony space so we were still outside all day. A slight hill to get to the steps to the water were easy for me to navigate as well. We enjoyed the fire pit on several of the nights. One delicious meal prepared on the grill that is provided. Saturday night was delicious pizza from Twisted Sisters Pizza and several stores very close allowed us to replenish things like milk, eggs, cream, etc.
The property is a work in progress but I highly recommend it.

Really not a bad rental house for the price. This house holds potential. There is a great view of the lake. The water is clear. We did arrive to a few cons.
Kitchen floor was sticky, the dishwasher was left full. A few tables had spills, stains, and crumbs on them. No GFCI outlets. Was a smell down stairs, of mold and mildew. But it is an old house.
I do not believe the $250 cleaning fee is acceptable. (To wash linens and run the vacuum.) We tidied up before we left, doing the required task. (Other than unloading the already full dishwasher) I'm just saying $250 and didn't double check anything for cleanliness. The oven up stairs doesn't work. Not sure about the downstairs, had a "Do Not Use" sign on it. Both fridge and freezer up and downstairs work. Upstairs stove top works. Cook wear does need replaced, so best if you brought your own. 1/2 bath toilet is wobbly. Be careful on the balcony east corner some of its rotted and not braced properly.
With some time and remodeling it would be amazing. Everyone had a good time here.
