It rained the majority of every day we were there. We didn't venture out much at all, other than a couple of nice walks. The area is great for walking. Mostly we spent time on the porch. As so many said, the porch is wonderful - so pleasant and the view across the street was so peaceful. We even saw a few deer playing in the creek there. As for the cabin - no complaints at all. The king bed was incredibly comfortable. It was one of the best we've experienced with VRBO stays. The shower was nice too and included a rain shower head. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. I also appreciated many of the artsy decor touches. Nothing was over the top, but well done and in keeping with the mountain vibe. There seems to be a lot of pretentious places springing up in the mountains, which is not at all what I hope for in a mountain stay. This place was a true cabin with nice touches. I would definitely recommend.

We loved everything about the cabin. It is a wonderful combination of vintage rustic and sophisticated glam. Lots of thoughtful details that secretly impact your stay. Great area for lovely walks and kind waving neighbors yet very private. Perfection

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was great. Very close to town! The cabin was very small, but cute and nicely decorated. The only negative we had with it is that it is very dark inside, even in the daytime. You have to turn on all the lights, because there are so many trees and bushes surrounding the cabin.
And some of the rooms do not have adequate lighting. We really enjoyed the screened in porch in the front and sat out there every evening. During the day we hiked, and enjoyed shopping and eating!
