We had a wonderful week on the property! We’ve previously stayed in Downtown Breckenridge and much prefer Blue Lakes! The location of the home is perfect and allowed us to easily hit fishing and hiking in the morning then head to town in the afternoon. The house is very clean and well appointed with comfortable beds.
Our favorite part of the day was the evenings on the back porch by the fireplace. The first night we arrived we saw a mama moose and two older calves walking right across the street up the hill. We also loved our visits from Mrs. Fox in the evening. She’s very curious and we loved seeing her. We were also lucky to see a mama black bear and her two cubs one evening as we sat outside.
Our favorite meals were breakfast at Blue Moose, lunch at Otto’s trailer in Alma, and dinner at Tin Plate pizza!
We will definitely return to this property in the future!

Just book it. We had an amazing stay. The cabin is gorgeous and spacious. Had everything we needed as a family of 4. Great location near Breckenridge. There was snow all around the cabin. I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. The guest host was very responsive and answered any questions I had.
I didn’t want to leave.
