We loved our stay in the river cabin for our couple’s getaway. All the amenities and conveniences we needed were available to cook some simple meals. We loved all of the different areas we could sit to read, pray, and talk- from the screened in porch, the front porch swing, the cozy living room, the picnic tables out front, the ledge overlooking the river, and evenings around the fire pit.
Walking down to the riverside was such a nice surprise! The rock steps would be difficult with very small children or less-mobile folks, but we loved fishing on the banks, putting our feet in the river, and we even saw a family of 3 otters one afternoon!
While we loved the peace and quiet, calm woods and beautiful setting as a couple, we kept thinking of how much our kids would enjoy it! I guess that means we have to come back! ;).
Doug and Susan also are professional artists and there is original artwork all over the cabin, which was so special to view and appreciate. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property !

Lovely place to get away to clear the cobwebs! Having the river just below added to the tranquil atmosphere, while sitting on the front porch or in the screened porch. Thank you for just the right place.

This cabin was perfect for our 4 night stay. We had everything we needed to cook, do laundry, and relax. Even though the cabin is close to city conveniences, we felt as though we were deep in the woods with maximum privacy.
