How does one review this perfect place? First, the host Linda was outstanding. Very responsive. So informative. Amazing helpful in every way. Second, the grounds....just driving down the driveway was like heading into Valhalla. The ten acre property is simply beautiful from the apple trees and resident deer to the orchard area with fresh berries to the woods which surround the yard. Third, the location is perfect. We had visited Olympic National Park before and we had a good plan for what we wanted to see on this occasion. Many people stay in 2 or 3 places while visiting the Park, but we liked having a home base, and we were very lucky to find a place which is very centrally located. Close to beaches, Hoh, Sol Duc, and not too far from Cape Flattery, Shi Shi beach and Quinault. And only a 10 minute drive to Forks.
Fourth, the house itself is so well designed and so roomy that it totally met our needs for 4 adults. Quiet, private, nicely furnished, and so well equipped. We were there 5 nights and cooked fabulous dinners each night. Having the washer and dryer was a bonus and it allowed all of us to pack less than we needed for a two week trip. It is hard to describe all the wonderful amenities. But just know that the house, including the kitchen, had just about everything one would need. It was like being at home.
And for anyone staying there, be sure to take advantage of Sol Duc Farm across the street where one can pick fresh berries (blueberries berries, raspberries, and strawberries).
This is not a five star place....it is at least a 10 star accommodation!

We visited with my two kids (3 and 6 years) and some older relatives visiting from the East coast and this property was absolutely perfect for everyone. The host has thought of every detail, making the stay truly home like, and frankly better than my home, since it's so well decorated, so many amenities, the host even has extra supplies in case we forgot anything. There were toys for my kiddos and the yard is absolutely stunning for games, relaxation, yoga, soccer. We spent everyone evening around the fire pit. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this property to anyone and everyone looking for a beautiful get-away in not only a beautiful location but also in a beautiful home with all the amenities you would want on a vacation.

The home was perfect for our 2 families to use as a home base for exploring the beaches and the Hoh area of Olympic. It was clean, well stocked and comfortable.

We loved it! Everything you need in a stay, plus more. They thought of everything and even had the makings for s’mores waiting for us. It was a perfect way to start our vacation by the fire! The trees were beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out and sit. Great mudroom with even a shoe dryer! We used that several times after our beach/tide pool trips. Excellent stay!

Our stay couldn't have been any better! The house is beautiful and we felt at home immediately. The location was great for beach access and quick trips to Forks. We would definitely book again!

This was hands down the best rental property we have ever stayed in! It was peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and comfortable! Driving in was like entering another world. We enjoyed all this property had to offer! Our families truly could not have been happier. Our kiddos loved everything! From the play structure, to the garden, to the fire pit, to the pantry stocked with smores fixings! This home was perfectly situated for our trips to the beaches and the Hoh rainforest! We would absolutely stay here again!

This was the perfect base camp for our group while we explored the Olympic Coast. The house was clean and comfortable, and the property was very well maintained and had plenty of room to roam. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We hope to be back next year.

Undoubtably the cleanest and most peaceful rental I’ve ever stayed at, hosted by the most attentive and sincerest host. My family and I had the best time here. The house and grounds and beautiful and inviting. We enjoyed s’mores in the fire pit, burgers on the grill, deer roaming the front yard, board games in the evenings, short drives to the beaches and rainforest, etc. This house has everything to make your vacation memorable. If I ever find myself this way in the future, I would absolutely book this place again.

The Orchard is very comfortable, well maintained and Linda is an excellent host. This was my fifth time staying there and already made my reservation for next year.

This is a clean beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Kitchen is well equipped with many utensils, appliances, SHARP knives and even a gas range. There are also plenty of basic staples available like spices, oils, coffee, etc. Beds are also very comfortable. What's also really nice is the wi-fi access and instructions on how to use every device in the home. Staff was easily accessible, but not intrusive. Highly recommend this location with easy access to parks, beaches and sites along the Washington Peninsula. We had deer visiting nearly every day and we were surrounded by forested areas. So quiet and so dark at night. Wonderful!

Coming up the drive to the house, you know you are in for something special. A beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. The house is comfortable inside and out. And the attention to all the details is remarkable. Everything you could possibly need is provided, and with some things you might never of thought of. Grandparents, parents, and grandchildren all had a wonderful time.

Upon arrival the house and surrounding grounds were in immaculate condition. The house amenities were excellent and the fire pit was well stocked with wood. Plenty of parking. There is also a very nice play set for the kids. Would definitely recommend this for a large family gathering.

The woods are clearly filled with mischievous elves and perhaps a witch or two, hiding in the mist, so bring your breadcrumbs when you book this one.
Listen, I'm not even a reviewing-type of gal, but this place was too perfect: all the amenities you hope you find, all the advice about local attractions you could want, and so clean that my children noticed! On top of that, the location for exploring the wildness of the Olympic Peninsula can't be beat. It's 10 minutes tops from Rialto Beach and the start of the beach hike to the Hole in the Wall's fantastic tidepools, an hour to the Hoh Rainforest, and just over an hour to Port Angeles (and access to Hurricane Ridge).
Stay longer than we did: three nights were definitely not enough! We hope to be back!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home for almost a week with our two adult children. The house is immaculate and very comfortable with lots of nice touches and everything you need! and the grounds are lovely and well maintained with a huge lawn an orchard and a sweet garden! The large deck has a deluxe BBQ and lots of seating, we loved grilling dinner every evening and then relaxing by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows while looking at the stars! The property is close to some amazing beaches and hiking trails, there is so much to see and do its hard to choose! Our favorite place was Rialto Beach! We had such a lovely time we are already planning our trip next year to the Orchard! Its the nicest vacation home I have ever stayed in and the owner is lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and everything was just perfect! Thanks again!!

Before our arrival Linda got in touch with us to welcome us to her property and to give us any tips and information we might need. When we got there, the cabin was in perfect condition: clean, stocked, and welcoming! Anything we might have needed, the house had. We had tons of privacy and got to adventure on the land. The property has apple trees that we were able to eat from and also we got to feed the deer that come by daily. We loved this home and cannot wait to return to it for our next Washington vacation!

The property is extremely well maintained both inside and out. The owner provides a variety of extras from snacks, toys for the kids, to house hold supplies. She personally calls before the trip to make sure you are comfortable. The setting is remote yet as comfortable as a hotel. Perfect for families looking to get away and explore the Olympic.

The house is amazing! If you like what you see on the pictures it looks even better in person! The house is super clean, extra space for everyone, close to trails, Ruby beach, Rialto beach, la push, Hoh rain forest and Forks, and many places more and everything you need to have a great time and quiet place is here. We will definitely come back.

We had a fabulous time at the cabin. It was the perfect size for 7 of us (2 couples and 3 young adult children). We had a great time exploring Rialto Beach and the Hoh Rain Forest, but had an equally amazing time at the property cooking (inside and BBQ outside), making s’mores, and playing bags/cornhole. Whenever we needed rest, everyone had their own space to relax.
My brother-in-law said upon entering that it felt like home, and the whole family agreed. We would highly recommend this place.

Linda, the owner, and Lauren, the caretaker, were very informative and helpful before and during the trip. The house is well appointed and the kitchen fully stocked with all the cooking implements and utensils one could need. The outdoor campfire is a delight and the beds very comfortable. The entire house was very clean and orderly. We enjoyed the property to the fullest and will be back next year. Thank you!

Wow! This home was so impressive that we planned our trip around making this home the focal point of our stay and it did not disappoint - it exceeded expectations! The property is gorgeous and feels very private but is a short drive into the main town. The home was very clean (cleaner than other vacation rentals we have stayed at) and had all of the appliances and bedding & comforts of home. My children absolutely adored the swingset and secret passage into the playroom as well as the reading lounge. The best surprise were the smores and other amenities left for us as our warm welcome. The owner and her property manager are the nicest ladies and go above and beyond to give us the perfect vacation. We will be repeat guests for sure!
