1 Bed in St Ives oc-crab01

Absolutely loved the property! The view was amazing and the flat was very clean. Fab location and just a short walk to the Harbour

It took a day or two to get set up on the wifi and need to contact holiday agents to get access. Not sure if this was just a one-off issue.

The apartment is very well situated. The beach, the town and the railway station are all within a few hundred yards of the apartment and pretty much on the flat when the town itself is very hilly. The view from the lounge / kitchen is beautiful. One of us slept in the bedroom with no view and slept in until 9am while the other slept on the comfy pull-out bed/sofa and woke to brilliant sunrises and went for walks at 6am.

Access to the apartment was tricky. From the train with a suitcase it would be brilliant. But with gear in a car it was difficult. The lane called The Warren is very narrow. Locals can drive a transit van down it but I got cold feet with a Skoda Octavia. We parked in the station car park and unloaded the car to the apartment 100 yards away. But car parking in the station is £10 a day and not many spaces. We parked at the top of the big hill by the Leisure Centre for £26 for the week and didn’t use the car all week. A big walk or small bus ride if they are running.

Situation proche de tout, au-dessus des rochers, vue sur la ville et le port, vue sur la mer, les vagues, la marée, les goélands : magnifique ! Aménagement mobilier : sympathique et chaleureux ! S'asseoir sur la fenêtre pour la vue, c'est vraiment top ! Jeux de société et livres à disposition !

- Le safe des clefs de l'entrée n'est vraiment pas pratique à refermer ! - Dû aux travaux actuels sur le bâtiment d'à côté, les fenêtres étaient très sales(!), il faudrait donc indiquer aux locataires où se trouve la clef pour les ouvrir (et les nettoyer), car on les a trouvées par hasard, et on a failli ne rien voir de la vue magnifique. - L'eau de la douche a un jet vraiment insuffisamment puissant (ou bien on n'a pas trouvé comment faire ???).
