We booked accommodation in Belgrad as a family with two young children, and it turned into a nightmare. The owner took our money and then completely stopped responding to our calls. A few hours later, we received a message on Booking.com asking us to cancel. We were left without a place to stay in the middle of the night, with two small children, and our money taken. This is completely unacceptable, and we strongly warn others not to book here.

The owner rents out rooms separately in his apartment; it is not an apartment as advertised on Booking. It is very dirty, and the bathroom is shared with other people. The owner was okay, but he was drunk. Disastrously bad. A real scam!

The owner has lived at home and rent rooms . There is no information about sharing the home with the owner at booking.com. therefore, we cancelled our reservation in front of the apartment. We never advice this apartment anyone and the booking firm must cancel the membership of this kind of rental apartments.

Good

The flat was good and had an authentic vibe, it had enough space and the beds were pretty comfortable. The host is an understanding and nice person and the communication with him was easy and uncomplicated due to his great English knowledge. The only thing that we did not know of was, that he would stay in the same flat, which was quite the surprise as to we did not expect someone to live with us. We did not encounter him if we did not want to so his presence was not as bothering. Also there was a really friendly dog with him but it did not go to our rooms. To sum up the stay was great with the little bummer of staying with the host.

Location was great, near the St.Marko church, close to the center. The owner was polite and he offered his parking place for free.

There were not said that the owner is sleeping in the apartment with his dog as well. Something that we didnt expect. Also we booked for 35 euros but he asked to be paid 55 euros at the property.

L’host era accogliente

Purtroppo l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Appartamento segnalato come “non fumatori”, ma l’odore di sigaretta era molto presente all’interno. In aggiunta, un forte odore di cane bagnato rendeva il soggiorno ancora più sgradevole. Inoltre, l’appartamento era abbastanza sporco. La descrizione indicava un bagno privato, ma in realtà è condiviso con il proprietario, il che non era affatto specificato. Le asciugamani fornite erano estremamente piccole, e l’unico armadio disponibile era minuscolo: insufficiente per due persone. Il Wi-Fi ha funzionato male durante tutta la permanenza e non c’era nessuna televisione, contrariamente a quanto ci si aspetterebbe anche in una sistemazione modesta. Mancava persino il numero civico dell’abitazione su Booking, rendendo difficile trovare l’ingresso. Ma il problema principale è che si tratta in realtà di una stanza all’interno dell’appartamento del proprietario, non di un alloggio indipendente come lasciava intendere l’annuncio. Questo cambia completamente l’esperienza e andrebbe segnalato con chiarezza. Sconsigliato.

Apsolutno nista od neodgovornog osoblja zavrsno sa higijenom neredom starim stvarima. Samo cu napisati da sam sa vrata htela da se vratim u 01h nocu a iz sobe sam izasla 03h nocu dovoljno receno za se koji razumeju ovo.

Nije nam se dopalo to da smo krenuli na put sa malim djetetom i da sam se tad cula sa vlasnikom objekta za smjestaj koji smo rezervisali dan prije. On je nama tako hladno tad saopstio da taj isti smjestaj koji smo rezervisali nije slobodan!!! A mi sa malim djetetom!!! Ponudio nam je neku sobu gdje sam mu trazila slike, samo da imamo gdje da prenocimo jer je 1 noc u pitanju, gdje je on to izignorisao i nikada nam nije ni odgovorio. FUJ!!! Ne treba da radi ovaj posao ako nije za njega sposoban!!
