The owners upgraded us to the 8 sleeper unit free of charge. It was also self catering. We loved spending time on the big stoep and it was nice and private. The bedding was really soft and comfortable. We didn't use the pool, because of the season (Autumn) but think it is a nice spot to cool off during hot summer months. The water in the showers were also a nice pressure and hot. It is a comfortable and big house for a family get together. We enjoyed the silence in the evenings. We went for daytrips to Cullinan, which was a great experience and also visited Dinokeng which was a major disaster!
No complaints really, except for the carpets in the rooms. They are a bit tired.

Absolutely incredible place to stay at. Very welcoming staff, quiet and beautiful surrounds. Enjoyed watching the animals and going on a few walks. This is a little hidden gem that I would definitely recommend, not too far out of Pretoria But a complete escape from the city life!

Scenery and the Reserve.
The rooms. Had the bare necessities. Looks good from far but on closer inspection you notice that it’s all getting a bit rough on the edges with years of use. Needs a bit of TLC. The roadside signage to the lodge from the main road is very poor. At night it’s impossible to see. Even with GPS we missed the road turning.
