Its bright open floor plan offers an upgraded modern kitchen that connects to a large dining area and comfortable living space with oversized glass doors to maximize natural light and create a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. Unwind to the sound of tropical birds singing from your spacious private lanai overlooking the lush resort grounds.
Prepare delicious meals and refreshments in the fully equipped kitchen, outfitted with gorgeous granite counters, contemporary wood cabinets, high-end appliances, and all the necessary cookware you will need during your stay.
The suite can comfortably sleep up to seven guests with a sumptuous king bed and large twin sofa sleeper in the primary bedroom, a queen-size bed nestled within the converted den, and a queen sectional sofa sleeper in the living area. We stayed at the Kaanapaili Alii 121 for 7 nights. I attended a conference at the Westin, and we preferred the condominuim-style set-up of the Kaanapali Alii to the hotel next door. The beach access is superb -- could not be closer or a better beach. We bought groceries and cooked in more than we ate out, but we did try the try Mala Ocean Tavern in Lahaina, which was extremely superb. Also ate at the Fish Market on Honoapillani Rd (great food) and shopped at the Napili Market--it's pricey but quality. My son fished right from the beach, we swam and enjoyed the pool. You have great access to all of west Maui here. We also explored the Kapalua Trail and the active bird nesting area they are cultivating (started by a local fisherman many years ago to protect the Wedge-Tailed Sheerwater, which is easy to spot in their nesting caves. We caught a local canoe regatta while there, very awesome! My son said it was the nicest "hotel" he's every stayed in! While there we had a major plumbing mishap that was managed as quickly as possible by the hotel and we were grateful for their response. I highly recommend this property.
