Nearby activities include boating/fishing, tons of biking trails, numerous golf courses, and concerts at Bay View. Head northbound to visit attractions like the gorgeous Crooked Lake, the Oden Fish Hatchery, or historic Mackinaw Island. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Check in was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates and cups and cooking supplies.

The house itself was fine! Comfy beds, box fans in all rooms (no ac), equipped kitchen, toiletries for bathrooms!! Great location/walking distance to grocery store and laundry mat (which i didn’t think i would need). Right next to the bike trail, easy access to the beach to watch sunsets!! My issue with this house was the property manager. The code on the door is a 10-digit code which is way too long. It sometimes times out before you get the whole code entered. Our first night there had issues with the toilet chain it kept coming loose and we had to manually flush it by taking the back lid off the toilet. I messaged the property manager first thing the next morning to let them know thinking they would send someone out to fix it. All i got was thank you for making me aware. I also messaged for instructions regarding the trash they could not tell me what day trash comes and didn’t tell me that special bags were needed in order for trash to be picked up. These special blue bags can be purchased at the grocery store and trash pick-up is on Monday. Then 3 days into our 11 day stay the washer leaked all over the basement. I let them immediately know and received an email saying thank you they would let their local team know. All of these things happened early enough in our stay I thought for sure they would send someone out, but no one ever came. I had to use the laundry mat and manually flush the toilet. Property manager did not seem concerned about standing water in basement.

Slightly out of the downtown area, not too far. Close to bike trails and the beach! Great little set up. Our only concern, the house does not have air conditioning. This is not outlined really at all in the listing on VRBO. Thankfully we had fairly cool weather or it would have been miserable for our family as all but 1 bedroom is upstairs. Type the key code very quickly or it will time out.
