RnR on the Lake - A Serene Lake House with Private Dock and Breathtaking Views!

Relax at this peaceful lake retreat right on the water with a private dock. The multiple decks boast majestic views. Whether it’s sun-warmed mountains, a rising sun, or a dazzling night sky, like you’ve never encountered, you’re sure to be swept away by the magic of the acoustic birds (so many blue herons!) and other nature sounds at this tranquil getaway like no other. You can also decide to relax inside while still enjoying the pristine lake views though the open-out panoramic windows.

ABOUT THE HOUSE
RnR on the Lake has a beautiful and large updated kitchen, well-equipped with all you’ll need to cook fantastic meals. There is also a spacious living area with a wood-burning stove and a nice-sized dining room. In the living area is also a desk in case of work demands with a laser printer. We have a fast, secure wireless network placed in a centralized location for all of your streaming needs, both work- and entertainment-related. Off of the kitchen you will find a fully-stocked laundry room.

On one side of the house is a lovely master suite with a king-sized bed, a flatscreen for streaming and breathtaking view of the lake (with amazing sunrises that will take your breath away!) and surrounding mountains. You'll think you're on the ocean with the sounds of the waves crashing and the lovely wildlife if you enjoy the beautiful, quiet nights with the open-out windows. The newly remodeled master bath has a lovely vanity and walk-in shower.

Down the hall is a remodeled full guest bath with tub/shower combo, a guest room with a queen-sized bed with a flat screen for streaming, and another bedroom with a flatscreen for streaming and two day beds with pullout trundles. A pack n’ play and toys are available in this room as well.

THE BACKYARD
Step out into the backyard oasis to enjoy the back decks and you’ll find a propane grill. In fact, the woodsy, peaceful backyard right on the lake with its own private dock is perhaps the best part of the property. Sip your wine sitting on one of the sectionals. So many options to enjoy and unwind.

CLEAR LAKE - A HEALTHY GREEN LAKE
Please note that Clear Lake is a very large, old, shallow, and natural lake with an algae cycle that varies throughout the summer. We do not accept cancellation requests due to lake conditions, such as an intense bloom, or low water levels. Clear Lake has algae blooming yearly during the hot summer months and is to be expected. You can do an Internet search for exact details about the lake algae bloom. Even if you do not feel comfortable swimming during blooms, you can still enjoy the water on our canoe, kayaks, or paddle board. Or have fun fishing from the dock. If you bring your own boat, you can moor it on the dock and there's a public launch not too far (we send details prior to your stay).

NATURE
The area where our home is located is a nature preserve, replete with otters, blue herons, bats, quail, huge jumping bass, bald eagles, ducks, geese, deer, turkeys, and so forth. If you are not comfortable around nature, our location may not be a good fit. Because of all of the nature, it is very difficult to maintain a pristine property. We do our best and constantly clean, paint, and so forth, but you may see bird droppings, spider webs and the like.

PET-FRIENDLY
A well-behaved dog is welcome upon prior approval with an additional charge included in the initial quote when you indicate that you’re traveling with a pet. To assist us in keeping our home pet friendly, please clean up after your fur baby on the property as well as around the community. If you are unable to keep your pets off of furniture and bedding, please bring clean sheets or blankets from home to put over the beds and furniture. Additional cleaning charges may apply for yard clean-up, excessive pet hair, or messes requiring additional rug, upholstery or comforter/blanket cleaning.
