Set on 4 private acres tucked into the dense woods, the cabin has 4 stylish bedrooms and 2 full baths. Amenities include a wood-burning stove, firepit, BBQ Grill, games and access to the best hiking and dining in the region. Nestled between the Catskill and Minnewaska State Parks, Phoebe’s Nest is a desirable basecamp for any outdoors enthusiast.
The Space:
Nestled between the Catskill and Minnewaska State Parks, Phoebe’s Nest is a desirable basecamp for any outdoors enthusiast. And for those whose goal is to nest and recharge in a less athletic manner, this classic log cabin is a dream “rustic chic” getaway.
The interior is everything you’d want in a modern day log cabin: cozy, welcoming and authentic, with up-to-date amenities and creature comforts for a relaxing Upstate escape.
The rocking chair porch spans the full front of the cabin and is incredibly inviting, with its outdoor seating and stacks of firewood welcoming guests into the house. Once inside, the living room invites you to enjoy long evenings by the wood stove, lounging on the comfy sectional, or watching movies on the smart TV. The first guest bedroom is a queen, just off the living room.
On the other end of the first floor is the well-provisioned kitchen, housing all the basics you’d need for preparing a family feast around the long farm table situated under a row of windows nearby. There is one full bathroom on this ground level, with a walk-in shower/tub.
A short flight upstairs and guests are presented with three more bedrooms: a queen and two additional bedrooms with one twin in each. They share a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Each bedroom upstairs has its own little balcony for taking in the fresh air.
Back outside, enjoy grilling and outdoor dining in the warmer months, or gather around the fire pit for storytelling into the evening.
The Neighborhood:
Phoebe's Nest is located in the heart of the Catskills, in the hamlet of Accord. This quaint town has lots of explore-worthy spots. Grab cider and pizza at Westwind Orchard, beer and bites at Arrowood farms, or elevated dining at Inness. Rough Cut Brewing is also a local favorite. Getting Around:
Phoebe's Nest is two hours from New York City, and you'll definitely want a car to enjoy the region. In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads. There is plenty of parking on the premises.

** NOTE: The house does not have air conditioning. Fans are available for the bedrooms.

We enjoyed our stay, 10min away from the Minnewaska park. It was 2hrs away from NY city but we enjoyed being away. The drive around the small towns is gorgeous. We had a few communication hiccups with owner on somethings they weren’t available at the cabin when we were told they were but overall it was a nice experience.

We had the best time at your beautiful cabin and didn’t want to leave! It’s even nicer in person. So cozy and beautiful! It’s exactly what our family needed. We’ve stayed in many homes and none of them were as equipped as your cabin. Tons of pots and pans, utensils, cups, plates, even Tupperware containers. Down to a stopper for our Prosecco.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. Loved the decor and how the little touches made us all feel like we were home. From a well stocked kitchen to tissue in very room.

Place overall was nice and clean. We had our dog, the yard had lots of space for him. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet neighborhood. Check in and check out was easy.
