Relaxation awaits! This charming cabin on Lake Sallie is nestled near the historic Detroit Lakes Country Club, just 5 miles south of Detroit Lakes. The peaceful lake at your fingertips will reel you in as you enjoy swimming on the sandy beach, fishing, kayaking and loon watching. Winding down the day with a cozy bonfire as you take in the spectacular sunset views.
This cabin has been NEWLY UPDATED in 2023 with new flooring, paint, lighting, bath and furnishings. It offers the comforts of home with 3 bedrooms all with queen beds (pack ‘n play also available). It is 1,000 square feet and is quickly cooled with air conditioning on the hottest summer days.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities of home including dishes and utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, microwave, crockpot and more. The bar-style counter can quickly be converted to a large table with seating for 8. An outdoor grill on the lakefront deck is steak ready!
The spacious bathrooms boasts all new fixtures including tub/shower, vanity and stool.
The living room welcomes you with a comfy deep seating sofa plus a chair & a half for relaxing. If there happens to be a rain delay, the TV and wi-fi will keep you entertained.
The spacious yard offers ample parking as well as RV parking with a 50 amp hookup. There’s plenty of green outdoor space and established trees to provide lakeside shade.
Area attractions include the Hotel Shoreham, a popular summer dining venue located on Lake Sallie. Enjoy a pizza to go or sit down and enjoy eats and drinks. Ladies. Be sure to visit the Lake Girl Boutique located across from the Hotel.
Another local attraction is the Dunton Locks County Park. Dunton Locks has a paved recreation trail, picnic shelters, fishing piers and the boat tram. The mechanical boat team transports boats between Lake Sallie and Muskrat Lake, allowing boat travel from Detroit Lakes to Shoreham.
The Shady Hollow Flea Market is one mile from the cabin. The flea market features many venders selling their wares. There is also woodfired pizza and live music amongst other attractions.

Easy check in! Jeff was excellent and timely with communication. Kitchen was a full kitchen-not usual for a VRBO-it was amazing! There was also a blackstone and grill for our use. The cabin is right on the beautiful lake. Plenty of seating to relax on the big deck or the beach. Lovely experience! Would definitely return!

Very nice cabin, loved how it was decorated. Sits right by the lakeshore, easy for my older parents to be by the water. Very quiet area. Definitely will try to make it back.

We loved this property! The view and shoreline are spectacular. One of the few lots with an actual sand beach that the kids loved playing on. Cabin is great with everything being new. Cabin was stocked with all the household items you could ever need, as well as full tv and streaming services which was great when the weather was. It cooperating. Hosts were awesome to work with and very accommodating! We highly recommend this property!
