The gîte de l'Eau Du Roi is classified ***. It is located in the market town of Châteldon. Open for a short time, it is in a vintage spirit.
You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. Ideal starting point for the discovery of Auvergne and its surroundings.
Children are under the responsibility of their parents.
This is why, parents of young children, we draw your attention to the fact that the cottage has a staircase which can be complicated for the little ones.... but there is a barrier for the safety of the little ones

Our village has all the shops useful for a serene holiday, grocery store-butcher, bakery, bar restaurant, newsagent, pharmacy, doctor, nurse, hairdresser, artisanal cheese factory 10 minutes away.

I love this little town! The castle is still there, the people are so friendly and kind, the bakery & market are well run, clean and the workers are extremely nice. I only speak English, with enough French to say hello, goodbye, thank you, etc…but there is always a way to communicate if you are kind. The apartment is perfect for one or two people, it’s quiet, clean, beautiful & the host is so kind! I would stay again every time I am in France.
