"I was in the area for work, and the place was a great find. A little large for one person, but a great find for a last minute booking."

We had a wonderful one week stay at The Alder Lodge. The home was welcoming, cozy and clean, beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Location was perfect as a base for us to explore the beautiful area, including Portland, Mt. Hood, Columbia River Gorge; we also took a longer drive to Cannon Beach/Haystack Rock, which we highly recommend. Sandy is a nice town with options for dining and groceries. We also liked the deck out back with gas fire pit, surrounded by beautiful trees/forest. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Our week went by too quickly, there's so much more to see and do there. We hope to come back someday!

The Lodge was very cozy for our family, the road noise was a bit of an issue and kitchen could use an update but location good for Mt Good activities.

We stayed at this cabin while spending time with our son, his wife and our two grandparents.Lots of space inside. The three bedrooms upstairs were perfect for all of us.Well stocked kitchen, laundry room and lots of towels. The downstairs had another bedroom with a full bathroom,as well as, a second living room/game room. The kids loved having this area as their own.The jacuzzi tub out the back door was used a lot.The owners were very easy to communicate with and always professional in any questions that we had. There are so many pluses to this house that this review could go on for a while.Thank you Ryan for this beautiful home. The kids loved The Trout Farm this directly across on Hwy. 26.

The outside was so much different than the inside. It was a really nice cabin and smelled like one too. Expected it to be in the woods more but it is right off the highway. We like how easy it was to get back onto highway. We also enjoy the highway noise but if you don’t they have ear plugs and sound machines available. Cabin was great for kiddos and was well equipped with small kids stuff as well such as pack n play , high chair, and baby gate to block stairs. Don’t recommend for anyone that can’t use stairs as there are several.

Overall a wonderful trip! The house was clean and as advertised. Everyone really enjoyed the game room, the beds and couches were comfortable. The only downside was how close the house was to the road, so traffic noise was present, but not unbearable. The kitchen was small, very small fridge and dishwasher for the amount of people, but still functional. We have stayed at many rentals near Mt.Hood and this has been our favorite so far, we will definitely be back!

very clean and neat; very close to freeway access to Mt Hood, only about 30 min drive; kitchen well stocked; beds were comfortable; we all enjoyed the game room and the hot tub! Communication w/ the owner was very prompt and helpful.
