Our initial impressions were not good since the previous tenants had made such a mess it took the cleaning service more than seven hours to clean. The lady was still working when we arrived. She was exasperated at the mess. But she did a good job and we were only delayed a half hour or so. The pool, which is perfect for young children, like a lazy river with shallow and deep ends, needed a good cleaning too because of debris from surrounding plants and trees, but the service cleaned it the next morning. The setup of five bedrooms worked out nicely as there are children's bunk rooms off the adult king bedrooms. Many shops and restaurants near by. Beaches too. We would rent again. The management company was very responsive.

The house is beautiful. The pool was super warm, we did arrive with a dirty pool which they did have someone come out and clean fairly quickly. The pool light switch was nowhere to be found, I asked the guy cleaning the pool he said he would find out. When I contacted the property manager they asked me if I had tried every switch in the home… which I thought was a little strange ans asked me to update them when I found it. We were instructed by the pool cleaner that a technician would be out to help us with the pool light… That never happened. The safety feature on the door is a fantastic idea only the bypass button on your way back into the screened porch does not work therefore making the neighbor extremely furious with us. We ended up using the garage door where the bypass button did in fact work when re-entering the home. The house does sleep 12 although there are definitely not enough bath towels for that many guests. It appears a new fridge was installed right before we came we did have it leak one of the days although it did not happen again. Also had the dishwasher leak once too. AMI does not respond very quickly through this app. Once I was contacted by the property manager via text they were very responsive. I asked AMI via the chat on this app regarding a discrepancy in the photos of two of the bedrooms and the description on the page. Then when I asked via text they gave me a different description.

Unfortunately we were not impressed with this vacation home. It seemed as though it was largely unchecked at minimum the week prior to our stay, if not longer. Several drawers in the kitchen were not functional. There was sand on the floor when we arrived, but no broom for us to sweep it up or clean up what was dirty from our own stay. There was a vacuum cleaner but it didn’t work. Also the tv setup in the basement didn’t work, and it took all day for them to bring us a 12v to replace a dead smoke alarm battery. The smoke alarm beeped on and off for the entire day. Overall it felt like the property management company didn’t keep this home up. Location is great if you want quick access to Pine Avenue, but that was the only positive.
