Location is great for getting to places like Damme, Bruges or Ghent and for exploring the beautiful local landscape. Lovely garden and a beautifully restored and enhanced, well-equipped house full of character.
The house is located on a road which is unexpectedly noisy - mostly agricultural traffic and speedy drivers, particularly noticeable with the windows open during the extremely warm temperatures we’ve had in Europe this summer.

De villa was centraal gelegen op wandelafstand van een slagerij, een bakker of een winkel. De tuin nodigde elke morgen uit voor lekker te ontbijten. Bed- en badlinnen was voorradig en proper gewassen. WC-papier was voorradig wat het allemaal gemakkelijker maakte.
De trap naar de eerste verdieping had smalle treden, wat het niet zo eenvoudig maakte voor mannen met een grotere schoenmaat. Gedurende ons verblijf was het gelukkig heel mooi weer, maar een koeling op één of andere manier zou wel handig zijn in het huis zelf (ventilators, airco, vliegenraam voor de deur of ramen).

Prachtig, groot en sfeervol huis! Prima bedden en mooie badkamers. De keuken is zeer compleet. Tuin is groot en af en toe komen de kippen even langs. Brugge en de kust makkelijk en snel bereikbaar.
De trap naar boven is behoorlijk stijl en de ramen op de slaapkamers zijn slecht geluidsdicht. Het is ook erg warm in de slaapkamers.

Der Ausblick auf die Tiere und das Feld waren morgens immer schön anzuschauen.
Die Treppe zum 1.OG war etwas steil.
