Condo in El Centro Near Malecon!

Excelente ubicación si viajas sin automóvil propio el autobús que recorre el malecón pasa justo en la puerta del departamento

This is a very spacious apartment, located on the third floor, with an elevator. Beds and linens are comfortable, nice bathrooms with large showers and nice towels (and beach towels). The kitchen is quite handy with a large fridge/freezer, cooktop and microwave. The water system provides both hot and cold drinking water. Two large smart TV’s with very fast internet and three air conditioners which worked great. There is plenty of street parking, if you need it. The owner is very responsive to texts and helped with all our questions. It’s in a great location, you can walk a few blocks south and you’re in the historic district and a few blocks north and you’re at the beach. It is also on a major bus route, so you can catch the green tourist bus (Sabalo/Centro) which runs up the entire coast line to the Golden Zone. For the regular buses, download the “Enrutate” app and it will show you all the routes that go by here. Just stand on the corner and wave it down. There is an Oxxo 1 block south that carries a lot of basics, but for a real grocery store, you’ll walk 10 mins to Ley Centro. While the location is good, the neighborhood is a bit rough looking, with several abandoned buildings and broken sidewalks. However, we never felt unsafe, so don’t be afraid to explore this working class neighborhood. Here are some tips: - Walk 1 block east to the shrimp ladies, buy some raw shrimp/seafood, then take it to the restaurant next door and they will cook it for you. - Walk 1 block southwest and eat street tacos with the locals at Hector’s Tacos - Walk 1 block northwest and you’ll find the laundry service (and a great coffee shop). Drop off your clothes in the morning and pick them up that afternoon, all clean and folded.

The previous tenants broke the window shades in the front room, so you’ll want to make sure they got repaired as these south facing windows let in a lot of sunlight. The water pressure is very low, but it works, you just have to be patient. And like all towns in Mexico, you’ll need earplugs to sleep at night. There is an event center across the street which plays really loud music, but only when they have an event, so not every night. And the diesel engines of the buses are pretty loud. You’ll need an eye mask if you want to sleep in past sunrise as the sheer curtains in the bedroom don’t block any light. I was surprised that he didn’t offer any cleaning during our 3 week stay. It has been the norm, during our 4 months around Mexico.

El lugar es excelente,bonito, cómodo y limpio, además la cocina tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar, la alberca cuenta con clima lo cual lo hace excelente para cualquier mes del año y su ubicación en excelente si no cuentan con carro 4 cuadras del malecón y tiene supermercado a lado la atención del anfitrión es súper atenta a cualquier hora, espacios más grandes y limpios que un hotel sin duda alguna 👌🏻
