Namba is a great area to stay in Osaka, close to Dotonbori but far enough from its craziness. This apartment is steps away from the Nippombashi metro station, super close to Kuromon Market, and a short walk to both Dotonbori and Den-Den town. There are many yakiniku restaurants and ramen shops nearby. We enjoyed the location and the multiple bedrooms, but the apartment was old and showed it. Overall, it was a good value.
One physical key means our family had to stick together or leave the apartment unlocked if separated. The one elevator for the entire building was small and very slow. The stairwell was under construction and blocked off during our stay.

Location is excellent, close to food streets, fashion shops, transport, 25min to Shinkansen Shin-Osaka station, 55min to Kansai Airport.
Owner was very friendly and very responsive to our requests.
The futon to sleep on the tatami is too thin. As soon as we lied on our side or sat up on the bed, we could feel the floor. We requested extra futons to place on top of each other to soften it up. The owner was very friendly and tried her best to satisfy our needs.
The facility was old. I wished the bed sheets/quilt covers/pillow covers were white to show their cleaness. With coloured bed linen, it was hard to tell whether they were clean or not. They did smell fresh, so I did believe they were clean during our stay.
