Valley View - panoramic views of Rame

Superb location, beautiful valley views (and potential sea views had the nextdoor hedge been trimmed!) and exceptionally peaceful. Especially enjoyed sitting on the sunny deck watching the flocks of swifts dart about. Very convenient for beautiful walks to nearby Cawsand, a shorter one by road and a highly recommended longer one via the panoramic Rame peninsular coastal path. Accommodation was very well equipped for self catering and had good shower pressure.

First impression of the otherwise lovely interior was marred by a dirty carpet. As shoes-off-inside people we didn't feel comfortable taking ours off on this occasion. Perhaps a wipeable flooring throughout would serve better. Fortunately we took our own pillows, the bedding provided is synthetic fill duvets and bouncy foam pillows, and the main bed mattress is extremely soft, almost saggy (we're not heavy people!).

The location and the view out over the sea were amazing. The property itself - a kind of chalet - was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed (apart from some salt!) We were very grateful for the iron and ironing board because we were going to a wedding nearby. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small but fine for a few days and the open plan kitchen/sitting room feels inviting and spacious.

Fantastic stay.

Couldn't get the oven to work
