The location of the apartment is very convenient in walkable distance to most of the tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping streets, supermarkets, and the 2 subway stations - Monastiraki and Syntagma. Airport subway lines links to Syntagma stations, so it is also convenient to travel between the two points.
The room is spacious comparing to our 2 other Athens city center's hotels that we stayed in the later days. It was enjoyable to have your drink on the rooftop, as you can see the nightview of the Acropolis.
There is a small balcony in the room that good for observing the streetviews and drying clothes during summer time. The room is very quiet at night and the mattress quality is great that able us to have thorough body recovery from the tiredness. In the morning, a light and gentle church-bells rings from a church far away, usually voices out around 7-8AM, is an auto alarm to wake up us to have an early departure for the tourist attractions (letting us to prevent walking in huge heat under the sun at noon time in summer).
Lastly, I have to give a praise to the hotel owners and the service staff that they were so kind and helpful that did very great services to our 3 nights stay, from finding the entrance of the apartment, assisting us to contact the airpot luggage tracking center, checking the most suitable time to checkout to catch the aiport subway, and guiding us where to buy the international power adapter when our luggage was delayed sending to us. Their rapid response and communications through WhatsApp was exceptional. It brought us positive memories during our 1st time travelling to Greece.
I will return staying in this apartment if I have a chance in the future.

We had one night in Athens and were really impressed by Mythodea. Great location, really clean apartment and both Kon and John were really helpful with transfers, local recommendations and letting us stay well past checkout due to our late flight.

Had a terrific time in this prime location in Plaka, just a couple of blocks from Monastiraki Square. Actually, everything was walking distance. We regret waiting until our final evening to checkout the rooftop which had a great, clear view of Acropolis. Very clean room with good, daily housekeeping. Konstantinos, the manager, was always very helpful before and during our trip, and always available through WhatsApp. If we hadn’t overplanned our Athens trip, I’m sure I could’ve bugged him for more help.
