We loved the remote location overlooking a small canal, the heritage style of the building with typical Kerala features, and Jovin was so helpful in arranging boat travel, kayaking and having our food delivered to the home stay. We had our meals in the family kitchen served by Raj who was lovely. Sitting outside on the front veranda in the evening was something special.
Be aware that you need to walk the last part of the path to get to the property or instead arrange a small boat to drop you in front. Jovin will help you with this.

The ambience is perfect, a quiet cozy stay outside the city, a perfect escape from the Noise!
A canal right in front of the stay makes everything just perfectly put together.

Quiet place , away for city noise and located in front of a narrow canal.
Host is very helpful and tried his best to arrange everything
The two rooms in backyard are not worth staying. Although there is AC, the rooms are very small, with cob webs and insects with broken plumbing.
Commuting to/from the property is difficult and no nearby places to eat. You would be completely dependent on host for every thing as you cant book an auto or cab by yourself or even go to a restaurent.
