Beautiful House Less Than 5 Mins Away From Beach and Pool

Was easy access to the beach and town, secluded, private environment.

Contactless/keypad check-in made the check-in process super simple and the house is in a secure gated neighbourhood. Since the housing development is new, the house design was very modern and the housekeeping did a great job of ensuring the property was clean upon our arrival. The property is located in Discovery Bay so it's close-by to attractions like Puerto Seco Beach (paid-access public beach) and the Green Grotto caves. And, there is at least one free public beach at Flavours Beach and Bar. Admittedly, there aren't many big box grocery stores or fast food places close-by but along the route to Runaway Bay and Ocho Rios, there are great restaurants like Sharkies and Plantation Smokehouse. And, just a 5 minute drive from the house, at the main intersection, there is a gas station where you can pick up basic grocery items, as well as a Juici Patties for a quick meal. My group traveled in and out of Ochi during our 3 night stay and the journey there ranged from 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and speed, so that's something to consider. All in all, this property was great value for money; we enjoyed having an entire house to ourselves in a safe, quiet neighbourhood and within good driving distance to major attractions along the north coast. Would definitely consider staying here again!

The unit was lovely, but we encountered several issues during check-in. Additionally, we experienced multiple disruptions in the water supply, which was a significant inconvenience for me. On a positive note, the property manager was responsive and handled communication promptly. Overall, the stay was decent for the price. I’d rate it a 6.5 out of 10.
