We loved our stay at Vaya Con Dios! It is small and cozy, but that worked out great for our small family. It is a short (3-5 min) walk to the beach. The provided beach wagon, towels, and chairs were awesome and the outdoor shower was a lifesaver!
Our kids loved the hot tub and fire pit and had a great time using the PS5 and watching Netflix and Disney+ on the TV. The beds were all quite comfortable!
The kitchen is small, but included almost everything we needed. (FYI no dishwasher so be ready to wash your own dishes.) The tub/shower was a bit complicated to use, but it was adequate for a shorter stay.
Jen was an awesome host and really easy to work with. The check in/out process was really slick. Rockaway is such a cute town and we absolutely loved staying here for our family vacation!

Came here with our 4 kids and 1 dog. The beds were super clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels, dishes, coffee available. Also, chairs and a wagon for the beach, which saved us!
The only thing we didn’t realize before booking was that there wasn’t a dishwasher, or disposal. We had to hand wash all our dishes, and with 4 kids, that was a lot! (Usually I’m not looking to see if there is a dishwasher when booking cause it’s typically standard)
Other than that, the host was very communicative and kind. The backyard was a huge bonus for us, and we spent most our time out there! The kids and dog loved it too!
