If you’re looking for the perfect Home Base for your next Chincoteague Island Adventure, look no further than ‘Shore Beats Work’ in Eastwinds. Located in the very heart of Chincoteague Island, this lovely Townhome is convenient to everywhere you want to be on our beautiful Island, yet a quiet and peaceful Retreat at the day's end.
Eastwinds is a small community of townhomes surrounded by Whispering Pine Trees just off of Church Street, which offers easy access to everything you love about our Island. Only minutes from the beach, downtown shops and restaurants, and more, it's Vacation Central, for sure! As you wander down the path to Shore Beats Work, you'll feel the serenity of the trees swaying in the salty air and that wonderful feeling of calmness that overtakes you when you realize you're finally HERE.
This lovely home is warm and well appointed. As you enter, you’ll be greeted by Beachy Floors reminiscent of a stroll on the Boardwalk, Colors of Sand and Sea, and a cozy Fireplace framed with Cedar - perfect for those chilly off-season stays - one of our favorite times at the Beach! You’ll love relaxing in the Living Area after a fun-filled day beach combing or searching for our famous Wild Ponies, and enjoying Free WiFi and Flat Screen Streaming TV. Or, if you’d rather take in that salty, sweet sea breeze, slip out to the Back Deck for a little break. The Fenced Yard is perfect for evenings spent with the kids chasing Lightning Bugs and listening to the Tree Frogs sing.
The Chef in your family will appreciate how well-stocked the Kitchen is with everything you need to make mealtime a bay breeze. There's plenty of room at the spacious Dining Table for everyone to relax and reconnect. Grab a quick bite at the Breakfast Bar before hitting the Beach, or enjoy some Fresh Local Seafood at the Dining Table. The Bistro Table on the back Deck is a wonderful place to sip your morning coffee. There's also a convenient Half Bath just off the Living Area.
Upstairs you'll find 2 spacious Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths! The Master has a comfy Queen Bed, and its own Private Covered Porch complete with chairs for relaxing. There is also a Private Full Bath with a Walk-in Shower. Right down the hall, Bedroom 2 is beachy with Nautical Navy Blues. Bedroom 2 sleeps 4 with Twin Bunkbeds, plus 2 Twin Beds. There is also another Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, so no waiting in line after a day of sun and fun!

Overall, the condo was pleasant, quiet and well located. Suggestions: 1) The back yard has quite an accumulation of pine needles and cones, and would look much better if it were cleaned up (I'd have been happy to bring a rake!). 2) The railing on the front porch outside the master bedroom is peeling and is due for scraping and painting. 3) The blue covers on the two sofas in the living room would benefit from laundering or replacement.

Property was clean and comfortable. Welcome kit was a nice surprise! Kitchen items - pots/pans/utensils could be updated; some were unusable. Would stay here again & recommend to others.

Good location and not hard to find. The code we were originally given did not work but communication with property manager was relatively quick.
