About this apartment rental
Hawaiian Princess 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath end unit penthouse. There is no better ocean/beach view on the westside of the island than from the lanai of this 16th floor condo. This condo sits right on the beach. 850 square feet inside the condo, and 400 square feet of lanai space, for a total of 1,250 sq feet.
Watch turtles, dolphins and in the winter, whales from your private lanai. Open up the windows and let the tropical breeze and the sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep on our super comfy gel foam bed. Prepare meals in our kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, and enjoy watching sunsets while dining on the lanai. If you are looking for somewhere that you will want to return to year after year, this is it.
NOTE: This part of the island is a mixture of socio-economic backgrounds. We have multimillion dollar homes mixed with lower income housing and unfortunately, some homeless camps. There are camps on the west side because of the great weather, but there are homeless all over the island, especially in the big city. The average price of a home is well over a million dollars here. That prices a lot of people out of paradise. We are a gated and secure building. Most people leave their lanai doors open 24/7 to let the breeze come in and to hear the sights and sounds of the ocean. Just as an FYI, we live in the area, and we have never had an incident related to the homeless, except maybe someone holding a sign looking for a meal or a couple of dollars.

We are at the airport flying back to Canada but we had a wonderful one week stay at the Hawaiian Princess penthouse apartment. The views are spectacular as is the beach. We picked up groceries at a Safeway before heading to our condo and we enjoyed having our breakfasts on the lanai and tried to get back for sunset most nights. Though we were here for the Kona low # 3 and had a day of wind/cloud and one day of heavy rain the other days were awesome. The beach and ocean were great for swimming. We toured the whole island with day trips - though got stuck in 2 hour hour rush hour traffic on the day we went to Waikiki. Beach house 604 was great for nearby dinner but we cooked at the condo a lot too. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was so comfy. I had a conference at the Disney resort for 2 days and this was just 25 mins away. I can highly recommend this place if you’re looking for stunning views, more room than a hotel and an amazing beach. The condo was exactly as described. The views from the balcony were unbelievable. We could see turtles swimming close to shore from the balcony and whale spouts further out in the ocean. We were visited by a seal one morning. It had even more amenities than were listed. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves in the condo and on the beach. The host was very thoughtful and responsive. I would highly recommend.
