The space
You’ll find Butterfly Lake House at the end of a quiet residential road in prestigious Muskoka Lakes. Nestled peacefully in the forest you will enjoy a bright and airy home complete with all the amenities of modern living and with direct and private access to Butterfly Lake.
The humble lakeside home offers one an experience of peaceful emergence in nature without sacrificing any of the luxuries of modern living. The home comes with everything you need to enjoy a weekend, a week or even a month of rest & relaxation. A fully equipped full sized kitchen with stainless steel appliances -including dishwasher, open concept living and dining room, two rooms, two washrooms (one an ensuite in the master bedroom), and a laundry area with washer and dryer. There is also a small ‘office area’ in the master bedroom with a comfortable desk, chair and high speed wifi in case you need to do some work.
Step through the sliding glass doors in the kitchen and dining room to access the huge deck set up with comfortable outdoor furniture and a cast iron barbecue for sharing good food and lounging in the sun with friends and family! Just sit back and enjoy the view and the sunsets on Butterfly Lake or venture down the boardwalk or go enjoy the gentle rocking of the floating dock.
The floating dock is your perfect gateway to the private corner of Butterfly Lake! It’s perfect for Sun bathing, sitting with your toes in the water, jumping in the lake for a swim or launching with the kayaks or canoe.

The cottage was immaculately clean and well laid out. The deck space was HUGE with many hang out zones. Perfect for morning yoga and stretch. The dock had a great view of the sunsets and the lake. We made good use ofnthe paddle boat and rhe kayaks. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We have a wonderful time. Check in was easy, our cottage was well appointed with everything you need for a great stay. Short hop to many of the best sites around Muskoka. Angela takes great care with her property and her guests!

The cottage is quite new and well appointed with lots of amenities. It is at the end of a 1.5 km dead end road so very quiet and private. The dock is right on the water so easy to jump in but there is no beach or place to wade in from the shore.
