Location was great. House was clean and you could tell was updated and taken care of.
Just a couple suggestions. We happened to be there during a cold spell and a throw blanket or two would have been great. Also maybe a list if channels that you can get on the tv would have been helpful. Just small things.

Simon, the host, was incredibly personable and responsive. He stopped by a couple times to see how things were going for us. When I found a few items missing from the kitchen and offered to buy them, he not only agreed to reimburse us, but offered to reimburse us for anything else that was needed. The home is really charming. We enjoyed the backyard- especially the hammock, where I spent time reading, resting, and listening to the sound of birds in the trees. The WIFI was strong. The carport fit our SUV and provided shade. It was useful to have a desk in the open layout kitchen, eating space, and living room. We were able to walk to many restaurants, shops, and the wonderful Delray Beach museum. The cost for this rental is very reasonable by Florida standards elsewhere.
There are some needed furniture items:
A dresser in the 2nd bedroom (especially for longer stays)
Storage for the one bathroom (not enough space for personal bathroom items for two guests)
End tables for the living room couch
Also missing were adequate kitchen item such as coffee cups, cookie sheets, food storage containers, hot pads. oven mitts, etc.
The AC unit is incredibly noisy. We could barely hear the TV or talking.
The stove/oven is gas, which I find to be difficult typically but this one was really hard to cook and bake with.
My last comment would not prevent me from recommending this property but it's given as a heads up for guests who may be disappointed in the neighborhood. It does feel transitional and a bit run-down. Only two blocks away, there were million dollar plus properties and many new ones being constructed. We never felt unsafe and still found the location to be good for exploring the area.
With a little attention to the above details, I absolutely recommend Casita Delray. We really enjoyed our time there.
