penthouse with great sea view and natural reserve - magnificent swimming pool - calm and bright

Prachtig appartement, goed uitgerust (wij vroegen om een strijkplank en die werd meteen nieuw geleverd). Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en uitleg door de host Maria en een heel vlotte communicatie zowel met de host als met de eigenaar.

Het enige minpunt zijn de trappen naar het zwembad en naar de oceaan. Wij waren met iemand die niet zo mobiel was en dan is die locatie, alhoewel ze prachtig was voor ons, niet aan te raden.

One of the best properties that we've stayed in over the years in Tenerife. The number one attraction has to be the views. The upper (roof) terrace has unobstructed views, but the lower terrace has roof terrace of the next apartment down in front (seems a bit of an odd arrangement). Overall the apartment is well appointed, but I would not consider it to be a luxury apartment (at best 4* rather than 5*). A few bits here and there (especially the bathrooms) are a bit tired, but overall very good. Accessing the apartment is from very end of Calle la Golondrina. Parking there was absolutely no problem, so no need to use the rather tight underground parking space. Property can be located using what3words: rebounded.unique.nobler

Recently stayed in this exceptional apartment with my wife & 5year old son. The communication with Erik before, & with the local host Maria was faultless The apartment is stocked with some of the bare essentials you need to start yourself off, and the cupboards are well stocked with everything you need for cooking & eating in the apartment The apartment is a small walk downstairs to a lovely pool area & a short walk to the rocky beach downtown (5mins) There is an underground car park you can use, but we just parked on the street with no issues. There are supermarkets & restaurants within a 5/10min walk & everything we ate either out or when we got take away was absolutely beautiful (we loved having take away on the beautiful balcony for sunset) I cannot recommend this apartment enough 10/10 Would definitely use this place again & again

This is not a negative, but from one side access you have to climb 146 stairs to be exact (but this can be avoided by walking an alternate way along the street)

Wir waren zwei erwachsene Paare, da wir aufgrund der Beschreibung und der Bewertungen hier gehofft hatten, dass die Unterkunft dafür gut geeignet wäre. Aufenthaltsdauer in der Wohnung: 12 Nächte. Zu den Pluspunkten: Sehr ruhige Lage, trotz sehr dichter Bebauung – wie auf allen Kanarischen Inseln. Von außen sehr schöne Anlage. Und das absolute Highlight: die großartigen Ausblicke von den Terrassen! Drei in einem: vorne das Meer, rechts der Teide, links der Leuchtturm und das Vulkanfeld. Vielen Dank an Maria, dass sie uns einen Check-in 2 Stunden früher ermöglicht hat!

Für diejenigen, die es nicht stört, dass seit langer Zeit offenbar nicht mehr in die Wohnung investiert wurde – zu erkennen an den Matratzen und Möbeln – und dass die Reinigung nicht besonders gründlich ist (Flecken auf den Möbeln, Staub, stark abgenutzte Bettwäsche), sowie das Fehlen von Kleiderhaken, Hygieneartikeln, Toilettenpapier und anderen Kleinigkeiten, die man selbst kaufen und dort lassen muss, kann die Wohnung problemlos mieten. Sehr unangenehm war, dass eines der Badezimmer einfach in einen Abstellraum mit Eimern, Wischmopps und kaputten Gegenständen umfunktioniert wurde. Garage und Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, dazu können wir nichts sagen. Wir reisen sehr viel, auch auf die Kanarischen Inseln, und können mit Sicherheit sagen, dass der Preis hier nicht dem gebotenen Qualitätsstandard entspricht. Die Gastfreundschaft lässt zu wünschen übrig. Schade.
