Hillside Chalet

It was a good location and was very clean. I would definitely recommend going there and staying

I mainly liked everything but it is a bit frustrating that you have to pay for your electricity

It’s our second stay in the chalet, and I liked it very much, large enough for a few days’ long stay, all facilities needed were there. Car park nearby. Surrounded by park, so you wake up to the sounds of birds singing. Also, the heating system has been updated recently, which means there is not much humidity inside anymore (some people mentioned that in reviews from previous years). The owner very helpful and responsive, if you need anything. The only small downside is the fact that you have to top up your own electricity, keep an eye on it and not miss the little shop opening hours, but that is the case in the entire park, not just this chalet and it is, I think, reflected in the booking price

Location is great as just outside of Bude. Some lovely little walks around the local area.

The place uses a lot of electricity to run heaters in the cold months. No WiFi and the smallest tv possible. The shower isn’t very good, very damp smell and overall not the cleanest. Dead spiders in the bedroom, cobwebs around the bedside lamp. A snail living in the shower! We stayed here in May and the place seems to have gone down hill quite rapidly with damp and mould in places.
