Sunset Square Apartment Sarajevo

The location is absolutely fantastic. The apartment is so central that we could walk to Baščaršija every evening for ice cream or coffee, which made our stay in Sarajevo much more enjoyable. Honestly, the location alone makes this apartment a great choice, especially for families who want to explore the city on foot. The apartment itself is very nice and well equipped. The kitchen has pretty much everything you might need, and there is even a telescope for enjoying the view and looking at the surroundings. The host was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Parking is probably the only challenge because paid parking in the area can be expensive, but we found a very easy solution. If you keep the apartment on your right and continue straight ahead, pass the bus stops and go towards the mosque, there is an area in front of the mosque where parking was free between 15:00 and 09:00 during our stay. This worked perfectly for us. And to the host: you still owe me €1 change 😄 No worries — I’ll ask for it as a discount when we come back next time! Overall, this is a great apartment in an exceptional location. Anyone coming to Sarajevo with their family and staying here will probably thank me for recommending it. Being able to walk to Baščaršija every evening was one of the best parts of our stay.

The only real issue for us was the cleanliness. The apartment itself is great, but we felt that it needed a more thorough deep cleaning. We noticed quite a lot of hair on the floors and carpets, and overall the cleaning seemed a little superficial. A good vacuuming and more attention to the floors and carpets would make a big difference. This is a shame because there is really very little else to criticize about the apartment. With a little more attention to cleaning, it could be an exceptional place to stay.

The rooms are well equipped with all the necessary facilities, everything you need is here. Only some small details that you need to get it for yourself such as the shower gel, a dental set, tissues (only toilet paper are there) and not enough trash bags (only 1 bag available)but there is no problem for us anyway :)
