Apartment Nejra

The bed is large and comfortable, and the air conditioner works very well, makes it comfortable. The pillows were so thick they hurt my neck but it is really minor. Aside from that it is great to have a kettle and fridge and your own chairs. The lighting set up is really cool and you have many light sources to choose from, a dimmer, and cool/warm tones. The decor is also really nice. The location could not have been better as it lies on one of the main shopping streets with cafes and restaurants and bars everywhere. If you walk east you will end up straight in the bazaar.

It was difficult to communicate with the host in person because he doesn't really speak English and he is rather stern. However it worked out in the end and the apartment is great. You have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get there by the way, and the outside door was a bit tricky to find. It is the one covered in graffiti. The water from the tap sometimes came out brown and sputtering, but cleared after short time.

The apartment was neat clean, prime location, maximum city attraction were on foot.

no elevator and identification for the apartment. it was on second floor. but thanks to host he was responding on time.

The host was very nice. The apartment was in the city centre. The apartment had a lot of lights, that made me feel very comfortable. This stuff was at the apartment: iron, plates, cutlery, cups, mugs, extra thick blanket, clothes hangers, shampoo, 2 hair dryers, garbage bag, cleaning agents, 2 extra pillows, one pair of slippers.

I‘m a bit of a clean freak, so I personally think that I could’ve been a bit more cleaner, but that’s doesn’t not mean that it was dirty, it just means that there were some small corners or surfaces that bothered me but I still felt comfortable. Also at night sometimes the neighbours or whoever would just press the door handle down, it wasn’t scary it was rather annoying this happened at least every night of my stay. The host also told me that there might not be water in the evening/ early morning. Thank Goodness this didn’t happen to me, it would’ve been annoying if it happened, but I do have to say the host gave me a water bottle so I could wash my hands or face if the water really runs out. The view from the window wasn’t anything special. When you enter the building it looks a bit scary but that’s kinda normal in Sarajevo, because everything is old. But besides everything I just said I would still come back, I think the price was fair for everything that I got!

The location of the property was very good it was literally in the central part and only a few minutes walk down to the old town. We barely took any transportation only if we had to go somewhere far for the day. The wifi worked well too and the host was kind enough for us to leave our luggage for the day we checked out as we had an evening flight

I would say this is not really an apartment rather just a room as it did not really have any apartment amenities The mattress of the bed is also quiet hard which we are not use to and the pillows and blankets can do with an upgrade. There is also pigeons and birds that come sit outside the windows and make noises early in the morning.
