Casa Marina Taormina

Great location! Walking to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen and veranda was the best part of the place, but you need to go up 3 flights of stairs to get there. Generous with supplies in the kitchen for relatively lengthy stays (6 nights for us). And a great classic italian coastal town feel, in Sicily. Would stay here again, but arrange private parking elsewhere. Also would recommend investing in aircon for the two levels downstairs. Otherwise, lovely place to stay!

Aircon was only in the kitchen (right upstairs) so goodluck sleeping down the bottom in peak summer. I had the fan on but it was mainly just hot air, so you’d need to leave aircon on 24/7 to make it somewhat bearable. Check-in process could be automated to self check-in (which would save time and hassles). Also, DON’T drive or if you do, have a small car and maybe arrange your own parking arrangements. As the ‘parking available’ is at a nearby hotel and they book out with their own guests, in which case they expect you to leave the keys. Not to mention, it is an incredibly tight space to drive into. So if you’re not a confident driver in Italy, definitely don’t drive here. And also, don’t park in this hotel. They charge too much and although the owner of this accommodation says otherwise, we believe he keeps the money himself anyway.

In einem Zimmer im Erdgeschoss gibt es kein Fenster und es riecht modrig, eines der Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer

Giuseppe was a great host and looked after us from arrival to departure. The property was spacious and the decoration was lovely. Shower was great. Even though we were there in a summer heatwave, the property was nice and cool throughout with aircon on the top floor and excellent fans on the lower 2. It is perfectly located a short walk from the beach and local restaurants. Free parking was available along the beach front.

We have no nothing here. It is ideal for a family such as ours to stay in a lovely location.

Beliggenheten var veldig fin, nært strand, butikker og restauranter. Leiligheten var romslig og godt utstyrt. Veldig fint bad! Kort vei med buss inn til Taormina. Kun aircondition i kjøkkenet, men ingen problem å få nedkjølt leiligheten med noen ekstra vifter. Likte også godt den store balkongen med god plass til hele familien. Huseier var veldig hyggelig og enkel å kommunisere med!
