Podere La Quercia

The surrounding landscape features vineyards and olive groves. It is a very quiet, well-maintained place. The owners are a lovely couple, ready to answer any questions; they provide a list of recommended local restaurants and pizzerias. We dined at several of the recommended restaurants and really enjoyed the experience. The room was large and spacious, as was the bathroom. It was clean, and the air conditioning cooled the room effectively. Dinner is available on weekends for an additional fee.

Just so you know, the rooms were on the first floor, so you have to climb a few steps; anyone with mobility issues should keep this in mind. Returning to the accommodation at night involves driving through villages and along unlit roads—this is, of course, due to the local environment rather than the property itself, but it is something to consider.

Loved everything

We loved Podere La Quercia’s beautiful typical Italian countryside property, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the rooms were spacious, modern and very clean. We were there through the weekend and the hosts served two delicious dinners Friday and Saturday night, accompanied by their own wine. So good!! A generous selection of breakfast foods was served daily to start out our day. We were close enough to several ancient walled cities to visit each of the 3 days we were there. I highly recommend making this your choice if you want to experience Italy’s beautiful countryside.

Loved everything

Stunning scenery, and close to several small historical towns. Spotlessly clean. Attention to detail to ensure we were satisfied and comfortable. Great breakfast and weekend dinners. Attentive owners with excellent customer service. Highly recommended.
