Esperienza meravigliosa

We liked everything about the property. The host was amazing, extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We couldn’t ask for anything better. We highly recommend the place as is it close to the ferry terminal, lovely and fairly priced restaurants and supermarkets. We are happy to give 1000/10 to the property 😊.

We loved everything, the only minus was we couldn’t stay longer.

Perfect place to explore the northern and middle lakes

Clean great facility with sufficient equipment to make breaky and light meals; easy access and in a great northern lake town. Ferry access was regular and suited our needs but bus and train connections equally regular. Met hosts dad at the bus stop and he and his wife were delightful Julia the cat was so cute.

Go there without having second thoughts.

The room is quite large, very cosy and has everything that we needed. The house is a renovated stone house and it’s beautiful. We felt at home from the moment we entered. Andrea’s father was waiting for us at the nearby parking and showed us the house. He was very polite and welcoming. It was raining the next day of our stay so he suggested we take one of the umbrellas that he has. Dongo is not that touristic so the town wasn’t noisy and sleeping there was great. You can hear the italians going about their work in the morning which also adds to the romantic side of the trip. Also the fact that the house is made of stone and the town is situated in the mountain brings lower temperatures throughout the evening and that makes being there in the summer so much better.

Great place, great host.

Great, great, great. Andrea was a great host. The apartment was very neat, everything exceeded my expectations. On the small side if you plan to visit with your family but very functional. The location was great, a few steps away from local dining and coffee shops. Really enjoyed my stay here. Segnore Gernando was very polite and helpful, even spent some time hiking with me and showing me local attractions. Can’t say enough about both Andrea and his dad. Dongo is a lovely place, not too busy and not too far from Menaggio and Como but way less expensive. If you plan to visit this area, this would be a great place to stay.

Lovely stay!

The location is superb, in a lovely old part of Dongo. The owner and his father Gernando are very friendly. Gernando even brought umbrellas to our car when it was raining and walked us up to the apartment. The apartment itself is very clean and spacious and has everything you need.

There is no air-conditioning, but the temperature in the room was actually very pleasant.

Amazing apartment. Bigger than I expected. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen with excellent infrastructure (not used). Beautiful bathroom, especially the shower part. I just can recommend this location for your stay at northern Comersee

Charming traditional spot with a garden in the middle, steps from the restaurants and the water. A comfortable bed with all the amenities in the apartment, picturesque views. The hosts are way too kind and go above and beyond with hospitality.

Sehr schönes Wochenende trotz gemischtem Wetter.

Tolle Lsge in der Altstadt. Parkplatz in der Nähe, nach der Ankunft kein Auto benötigt. In der Wohnung war eine kleine aber feine Grundausstattung fürs Frühstück (Kaffee, Milch, Zucker, Marmelade) und alles für ein einfaches Tomatensugo vorhanden. Wirklich sehr nett.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Appartement

Das Appartement hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente und liegt mitten im Stadtzentrum von Dongo. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich von Gernando empfangen, der uns alles gezeigt hat, uns mit dem Gepäck geholfen hat und uns anschließend zu einen besseren Parkplatz geführt hat. Trotz der sprachlichen Differenz (wir haben uns mit Englisch ausgeholfen) haben wir alles gut verstanden. Das Zimmer ist mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht - bei der Ankunft waren sogar schon zwei Flaschen Wasser im Kühlschrank, was uns sehr gefreut hat

Herzlichkeit am Comer See

Traumhafter Aufenthalt, sehr ruhig und alles problemlos verlaufen, man wird hier in Ruhe und Glückseligkeit gelassen. Parkplätze in der blauen Zone kosten für 12h , 5€ zu Fuss in 5min in der Unterkunft.

Toll renoviertes altes Haus. Gemütlich.

Sehr geschmackvoll renoviertes altes Haus. Lücke und Bad gut ausgestattet. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Balkon winzig aber ausreichend um dort zu frühstücken.

Die Nachbarhäuser in diesem alten Stadtteil von Dongo sind weitgehend unsaniert.

Sehr schönes Studio, tolle Lage und sehr ruhig.

Super Lage, sehr zentral, aber total ruhig. Sehr hübsch renoviertes altes Haus mit kleinem begrüntem Innenhof. Schön aufgeteiltes Studio mit schönem Bad, Liebevoll eingerichtet.

Ein Schrank für Kleidung wäre schön.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem sehr charakteristisch italienischen Ambiente. Das Zimmer war super gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das Bett war sehr groß und sehr gemütlich. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet.

Wunderschönes und ruhiges Apartment

Super schön eingerichtet und die Lage war top. Nachts war es leise und nur 2 Minuten Fußweg zum See. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
