Truly excellent stay. On the list to return

Beautiful space that feels like home. It was a fantastic home base for a first visit to CDMX. Quiet and peaceful location with lots to do nearby. Had a chat here and there with other guests but it felt very private.

There was a small plumbing issue that was fixed immediately.

We loved the property and the stuff!

Very chic mid-century modern style! The house is super cute, and breakfast was great and communal, it kind of encourages you to chat with other guests, which I loved. Everyone was so nice and attentive. We absolutely loved the experience!

I almost slipped a couple of times because of the slippery carpets, also hot tub was broken at the time we were there.

Perfect méxico city unique stay!

Unique property, loved that it’s not a cookie cutter hotel. The staff were so friendly and easy to contact, genuinely pleasant, great breakfast, will book again. Location was good too!

If you didn’t know the other guests, it could be loud. We were a bit chilly but it was an unusually rainy/damp week so they brought us an extra duvet and heater

Beautiful architecture, helpful staff

Wonderful staff: helpful and friendly. They shared a helpful guide with neighbourhood restaurant recommendations and created a group chat with us to act as a 24h concierge to answer our questions. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with a cooked option, bread, fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, juice and coffee. The staff let us pack a light breakfast when we had an early start. Filtered water, tea and coffee available from the kitchen. Enjoyed the architecture and interior design and loved the private terrace in the upstairs room at the newer rear part of the property.

The rainfall shower head makes the water quite dispersed so it takes a while to get wet and it's tricky to wash without getting hair wet. A second standard shower head would help. The shower area also needs a lip to stop water going into the rest of the bathroom. The mattress is higher at the sides so we were sliding into the middle of the bed. Suggest changing the mattress.

Truly fantastic accommodations. From the thoughtful design and excellent service to the comfortable beds and sustainable touches, everything was top-notch. Breakfast was a highlight—freshly prepared with made-to-order eggs, fresh bread, fruit, juices, and rich Mexican coffee. The WiFi was strong, making it a remote work–friendly space. As a solo female traveler, I did a lot of research to find a safe and welcoming place, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

Fabulous Stay in Casa Pani

Beautiful venue with history on design and architecture. Plan on staying there when in Mexico City. Is is centrally located to shops, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance.the

As a Sr citizen, be aware of lots of stairs with out hand rails. Manageable in the original side, more of a challenge on the renovated section with a tight metal circular staircase. Also no grab bars in shower. The floors marble and can be slick. We had no accidents and this comment is just to be aware. One of our party uses a cane with no issue The venue is well worth the awareness

The hotel was amazingly clean and cool-looking with the architecture and furnishings. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast and other amenities were great. This was a top-notch hotel for a solo traveler like myself, but this would also be perfect for couples and other types of travelers.

Architectural gem, kind hosts, delicious breakfast, amazing accommodations, would recommend!

Casapani is an architectural gem. The owners have a keen eye for design. I enjoyed the rooftop for my room, the kindness and helpfulness of the team, and the deliciousness of the breakfast (the huevos rancheros!).

The water temperature is solar powered. Casapani forewarns the guest in their room materials; however, I had not cold water for my shower during the entire stay. The location is in a chaotic area, which can be difficult to get to given traffic of CDMX.

We had a great time, the staff is wonderful, location is convenient. We rented city bikes - fun!

The property was beautiful and accurate to the photos and the description in the advertising. We loved the breakfast and everyone on the staff was professional, attentive and thougful about our needs and making sure we were happy.

The rooms are not air conditioned and have small air conditioners. Our room stayed fairly cool but our friends on the upper floor was very hot and stuffy. They really needed a better air conditioner. I wish there were luggage racks in each room. There was not a good spot to unload our luggage and we laid towels on the bed and unloaded our bags from the bed. Also, the pool is not really a pool. It’s a large bathtub in kind of a weird spot. I thought the whole property had a shared upper patio but that’s not the case. The outdoor patio is only for a specific room.

The Casa Pani elevated our amazing Mexico City break

We were warmly welcomed by the staff and supported positively throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and offered a perfect start to the day. Room was large, clean, serviced with beds/pillows really comfortable. Location was safe, calm and ideal for us as a base to travel. For the price point, we were delighted with our boutique stay.

None - all questions and queries were dealt with and accommodated in full by the Casa Pani e.g. early breakfast due to early tour, early AM check in support, local bar recommendations.

Experiencia agridulce

El servicio y la atención por parte del staff son excelentes: Esmeralda y Daniela fueron muy atentas y consideradas en todo momento. Desde antes de nuestra llegada estuvimos en contacto con ellas a través de un grupo de WhatsApp, cosa que nos fue muy útil. El desayuno es una maravilla, ofreciendo distintas opciones a escoger y preparadas al momento por Katy, que fue uno de los highlights de nuestra estancia. El motivo principal de habernos alojado allí fue nuestro interés por la arquitectura y el diseño, y en eso no decepciona: todos los espacios son preciosos y las instalaciones están visualmente muy bien cuidadas.

Hicimos dos reservas para dos fechas distintas, hecho que nos permitió poder probar dos habitaciones de las seis que tiene la casa. Ambas habitaciones estaban en la parte superior y el único acceso era una escalera de caracol estrecha y que se siente bastante insegura al no tener punto de apoyo en uno de los lados. No lo recomiendo en absoluto para personas con movilidad reducida. Muy poco práctico si llegas con maletas grandes y tienes que subirlas hasta la habitación, como era nuestro caso. Al no ser un hotel al uso, no dispone de servicio constante que se encuentre allí y que te pueda echar una mano con esa gestión. En cuanto a las instalaciones, ninguna de las dos habitaciones en las que nos alojamos disponía de aire acondicionado o calefacción, y la solución que ofrecen es un ventilador o un calentador que, aunque ayuda en casos de necesidad, no aporta el confort que se espera al estar alojado en un espacio así. La ducha de ambas habitaciones tenía un problema de desagüe y hacía que se acumulase el agua por todo el suelo, además de la propia alcachofa de ducha estar llena de cal y no permitir que saliera el agua correctamente, haciendo que la experiencia fuese negativa. El problema principal con el que nos encontramos fue el ruido que generaba el tanque de agua que estaba situado en el terrado del edificio: cada vez que algún huésped hacía uso del agua caliente, la bomba de agua se activaba y generaba una vibración en la habitación y un ruido muy molesto que no permitía descansar, ni durante la noche ni por la mañana. Comentamos este gran inconveniente con el staff y nos trasladaron la dificultad de poder buscar una solución, ya que el resto de habitaciones estaban ocupadas, y ofreciéndonos tapones para los oídos para aliviar la molestia. Nuestra experiencia a nivel de trato fue muy buena, pero hay detalles básicos con los que este alojamiento no cumple cuando lo que estás buscando es comodidad y descanso al visitar una ciudad.
